We visited PHI around about 5pm. When ordered, we were told by the waiter with a most unapologetic tone that all cakes were being sold out. As a coffee shop, it's hard to imagine there are no cakes to sell well before it closes. The services given in the visit were very disappointing. The souffle pancake had taken an unacceptable length of time to arrive at the table .....We heard no a word of thank you or good bye uttered by the staff. Zero service - super low morale too the st...

Ordered Beef Tartare as the appetiser - shock horror, still can’t believe it sickit was like pure raw meat put on the plate. There was zero seasoning at all - no salt or pepper, no onion, carpers or herbs - nothing at all!! Really poor effort, I feel sick thinking about it still, I expect better quality from Ciak. Super disappointing. upset

The food was alright. Took a little long to come out even though it was a fairly empty night. The server who was an Older gentleman was quite rude. Asking for the oyster menu and abruptly showed me the al carte menu aggressively and left. Younger server was much nicer.

Pic 1️⃣: Sea Shells Waffle / 貝殼窩夫 - $88 hkd 🧇🐚 — Probably one of their most popular menu items so I had to try it out! Don’t be fooled by the images you see online, this was actually such a massive portion 😂. Golden-brown in colour, and made-to-order, I was super impressed by how crispy the exterior of these waffles were. Not to mention, they were also pillowy soft on the inside. The waffles are served alongside a cup of vanilla ice cream mixed w...

Sour dough is a new bakery opened by Chef Gerard Dubois from Passion. All their items are made with their sour dough starter. Their food is amazing and I was impressed. I also enjoyed the brunch sitting by the windows people watching. The entire shop is really airy. 1️⃣Croissant The croissant was very flaky. But what impressed me most was it’s chewy interior. 2️⃣Valrhona Mille Feuille Tart Again, the tart shell is flaky and crispy. The chocolate was rich. The...

Just added this to my happy hour-to-go list!🍻 Chill vibe with sea view in Causeway Bay!🥂 🐷overall: 8/10 🍔Moo Moo Burger with Cajun Fries The bun was soft but the crust is well baked with a slight buttery taste. The patty was pretty juicy and paired well with the american cheese. The Cajun fries were not overly oily and went well with the honey kimchi sauce that came with the cheesy brassica. The sauce tastes like mustard but with a little spice...

Had no idea they have such amazing brunch sets! Favourite was definitely their cakes, their tiramisu crepe cake had the perfect crepe-to-cream ratio, and their red velvet was delicious, with tender-moist crumbs and the perfect cake-to-cream cheese ratio! The mains were decent too. Love the roasted turnips beneath the steak and the fried fish was super flaky! Great place to relax and catch-up with friends🥳

My birthday! And as usual, it always rains. But as it was my birthday, I was determined to have cake. And off we went to Kwun Tong area to get me some cake.  Unfortunately, the rain came hard and the closest place for shelter was here. Once there, we saw it was a really beautiful cafe. It wasn't our original destintion, but it would do just fine. Menu is in English and Chinese. They had a lunch set menu that includes a set drink with a 50% off discount for other dr...

When it comes to comfort food, egg puffs (雞蛋仔) is always my pick. 低調高手 undoubtedly has one of the best egg puffs in town. Their egg puffs are always crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside. Most importantly, the puff is really rich in butter and egg with a balanced amount of sweetness. 🧈🥚🤤 I came by on weekend evening this time and it only took a 15 minutes wait but given their quality and price, I think it worths a longer wait🤣

The people who work here don’t care about the customers at all. Terrible service (if they even bother to talk to you at all) and overall a really bad experience. I will never go here again after my previous experience. Tried many times to ask someone a simple question only to be ignored.

I have long heard that this is one of the best yakiniku restaurant in Hong Kong. After doing some research, I realized that the Soho branch is around $50 more expensive per set, but all of the courses would be grilled by their staff, while you would have to grill the meat by yourself at the Sheung Wan branch. I immediately chose the Soho branch, as I believe the staff would handle the ingredients with better skills, and could grill them to the perfect rarity. We chose the set with 7...

It is a very hit or miss restaurant regarding the service. Sometimes the service is welcoming and friendly and sometimes they make you feel like you should rather leave because you’re presence is an inconvenience to them. Food-wise, the quality is great and they have very generous portions. Delicious curries and main dishes as well as very well priced lunch specials. Prepare to wait a little bit for your order.

A convenient coffee shop close to the ferry pier and beach which serves really good coffee and great selection of pastries and light food. There’s some nice comfy seats available to enjoy at the coffee shop which is a good spot to read a book or watch the people going by.

📍The Baker and The Bottleman The sister baker shop of Roganic. Was excited to try it at first but ended up really disappointed. Their loaf version of the soda bread sort of exaggerated its mushy texture. The onion tart was ok in taste but the tart is really oily. It leaves a bad coating to the mouth. Also tried a number of their donuts and all are very disappointing. Not fluffy and the fillings are all sooo sweet. Not sure about all the hype about it bu...
