I had organised a lunch meeting that turned out to drinks after. The crew were great. We talked about how quiet LKF has been, in particular, over the past 12 months. For four Asahi pints, four cans of soda water and two bottles of white wine, the bill was USD 240 or HKD 1,879. The white wine cost USD 12 or HKD 90 at the shops. The wine was priced at HKD 598. I made no fuss when paying but it is only fair I also contribute facts. I will not avoid this bar from now on. For those who would venture here, stick with beer. P.S. The owner also owns the bars next door so its safe to assume its the same tactic.

I only realised it’s a new restaurant that had opened for just a week when I searched OpenRice after visiting. We haven’t been to Harbour City for a while and were looking for new restaurants to try. Saw this Taiwanese restaurant with welcoming décor and nice food shots on their LED screen, and they have tables available, so we went in. The 2-colour Taiwanese night market sausage was nice and as per expectations. The deep-fried mushrooms in salt style had exceeded our expectations. They were presented very hot, and so juicy inside. The deep-fried chicken bites with cuttlefish outer layer with salmon roes on top were excellent as well. The omelette with small oysters was ok. The pork chop with curry veggies inside was creative, while not all of us preferred. The traditional Taiwanese dishes such as beef noodles, which contained 4 large pieces of tender beef and the minced pork rice were nicely done. The bubbles milk tea was good. Too bad we got so full and couldn’t even finish all the savoury items, hence didn’t order the desserts. I was so delighted to see the availability of croffles on their menu.

If you’re working/ visiting the expos, and want to save yourself the hassle from walking back and forth for food, try this Cha Chaan Teng out. It’s not bad at all. I tried the spicy pork stir fried flat rice noodles and it’s quite legitimate. It comes with a bunch of red and green spicy chillies (very spicy indeed), and the flat noodles were well stir fried (they didn’t stick together). It’s a nice surprise because it actually tasted good. Portion is big and valid for its price and location convenience. There was a queue for about 5 mins during lunch/ dinner hours, the seatings were spacious inside, worth the wait (if you couldn’t care walking outside to dine under the heat/ heavy rain seasons).

My friend and I both picked the same sashimi rice, the one with salmon roes, uni and minced tuna. As I also saw that we could pick these 3 items to combine it on our own from the optional sashimi rice menu, the staff said the portion of the sashimi would be more for the lunch sets, so we went for that. The restaurant was all full during a Friday lunchtime. Had to wait for 10-15 minutes even when you had booked a table. Since the restaurant didn’t have any other waiting area, I was asked to wait behind the bar, right in front of where they put the used dishes and bowls. What an unpleasant experience right before my meal! Since there’s a table that was available shortly after my arrival, I had asked whether I could take that, but since it’s a table booked for 4, I got to wait. It turned out that I was later asked to sit in that exact table and share that with another booking for 2. The sashimi don was good. They added something of light brown colour to the sashimi rice, giving it a light brown colour, but the rice didn’t taste salty nor having soy sauce taste. Maybe it’s mirin. In the don there were lots of salmon roes, together with uni and negitoro, which matched the expectation of the charge of $228 + 10%. We hadn’t asked for a bottle of tea/hot water, while the staff put one on our table, which made the small table even smaller, and wouldn’t have enough room to put the lunch sets when they arrived. This had shown not enough consideration. The fact that the tables were so close to each other and the particular spot that I had to wait there had adversely affected the overall experience right from the start. Look at the decoration, it’s more a place for drinking and snacks rather than for the appreciation of food. For this price, I’d rather go somewhere else.

Bookmarked this resto for a long time, and finally went here with my friends. . It first came with the appetiser, prawn crackers, which were crispy. Then, I ordered Lady 13 Chicken Plain Noodle. It consisted of shredded chicken, char siu chicken, soft-boiled egg and plain noodles. The shredded chicken and char siu chicken were savoury, and appreciated the runny yolk of the egg. The broth was a bit salty though. One friend got Seared Shredded Chicken Rice. It had a fragrant aroma from the fried garlic, and the chicken oil and sauce made the rice appetising. Another chose Seared Shredded Chicken Plain Noodle. Not sure about the flavour as I didn't try it. . The resto was quite popular, so we waited for at least 15 mins to get a table. We were asked to share the table with strangers, and our seats were quite crowded.

- Returned twice to the store as the cashier and staff keep on missing the stuff as ordered 1st time ordered 5 items but only marked 4 items in the bill and handed me with 4 items 2nd time even worse - I go back requesting for buying more stuff, paid with the ordered items but they missed out again with the paid item. - the manager / cashier with bad attitude and pull a long face to the customer when I requested on voiding the wrong receipt and added with new items and bill with a new receipt.

尖沙咀海旁嘅阿根廷餐廳 A nice place for steak they have happy hour before menu before 7pm <beef tartare> well seasoned beef filet with sundried tomatoes and herbs, serve with crostinis <grilled octopus> served with romesco sauce octopus was grilled nicely yet the meat still tender <12oz sirloin> the steak was grilled nicely with beautiful caramelized crust while still juicy inside

This was our second visit to Amber, with our first visit being two years ago, and it was a delightful experience. The menu was excellent, the service was outstanding, and the waiter was incredibly attentive, which is why we decided to return this year for another celebration. However, we were sorely disappointed this time, although their signature caviar dish still tasted delicious, there was definitely room for improvement for parts of the menu. We provided our feedback when we were approached with the question of how our meal was, but instead of addressing our concerns, we felt the feedback was dismissed with a discussion of how incorrect we felt, leaving us feeling upset and aggrieved by the end of the meal. We were definitely not expecting such handling and service from a fine dining restaurant nor is our intention to start anything but just giving a genuine feedback. Regrettably, we will not be returning to Amber again for this disappointing experience.

Operated by and as part of log-on, this café ToGather is a western style Japanese casual restaurant. Their grilled cheese and scrambled egg croffle sandwich was great. It’s a brunch item to me, while we had it for dinner We added a teriyaki chicken as the content of the sandwich. Their fries were freshly prepared and they’re really hot and yummy. Their pastas were also nice. Had tried their Sawagani (Japanese soft-shell freshwater crabs) with crab meat fettuccine in mentaiko cream sauce and their Hokkaido scallops seafood fettuccine in tomato sauce. I particularly liked their cream sauce. Both the soft-shell crab and the scallops were large. We went for an early dinner and were able to be seated right away, when the restaurant was about 70% filled on a Saturday.

I had the bibm noodles and yukgaejang noodles, and the spicy flavor was just the right level of deliciousness. There were plenty of vegetables and meat in the broth, which was great. The portion of noodles was also quite generous, so I think even men would feel full after eating it. I'll definitely visit this place again.

A new cafe in Yuen Long with an unexpectedly beautiful interior which reminded me of my best friend’s wedding. Lemon tart was exquisite and one of the best I’ve had in a while. Espresso tonic was refreshing, especially in this crazy Hong Kong summer heat. A wonderful and welcome addition to the cafe scene in Yuen Long.

I visited the burger shop last night and had an amazing experience!👍🏻 I ordered the Flatiron Burger, and my friend had the Flatiron Deluxe. Both burgers were incredibly juicy and delicious! 🤤🤤 The environment was great, and the staff was super friendly. We also ordered some wine, which was a nice addition to our meal. The prices were affordable too! Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend it!!!!
