I have recently been one of the random customers of this restaurant. I am a filipino and I noticed there is a number of Filipino employees in this restaurant. I can say the food is fine but I am not after just the food. I want to be treated or observe as much decency as possible by or from anyone in the premises especially while I am having my meal. I cannot resist hearing talks around me, especially if I can understand the language used by your people. I am not sure on the position of these s...

Worst restaurant in Sai kung! I have never been to such poorly served restaurant in Sai kung. huffy We booked table online through open rice. When we showed them the booking and tell them my name, they ignored us and directly bring us to a table upstairs. Waited for almost 15 minutes to get the menu. We ordered 1 full breaky and 2 egg royale (salmon egg beneidct). The full breaky was ok. But the waitress gave us salmon truffle scrambled egg 30 minutes after the order. ...

A very hearty Japanese small restaurant hidden in Tai On Building. What a nice surprise I had today at after the lunch hour in Sai Wan Ho. I came across a Japanese restaurant right after some grocery shopping. The pull up banner outside the restaurant grabbed my attention, it was like waving at me and inviting me to go inside... . I just could not resist the Snapper fish Udon in Pork Bone Soup. The snapper has a lean, firm texture. The flesh is white and  delicat...

Cova has always been one of my favourite brands for cakes. However, the blueberry cheesecake this time was very disappointing. The cheese itself was more like jelly and was not thick or rich at all. It was so far from my favourite texture of cheese. There was a thin oat/cookie base trying to add some texture but it was again not thick or dense enough to add sufficient colours to the cake. The blueberry sauce was ok and not overly sweet. Overall, I was very disappointed. Next time I...

The best pan-fried dumplings in town! 🤤 There’s always a massive line and it takes more than 20 mins for takeaway- but these big fat pork and chive dumplings🥟韭菜豬肉煎餃 ($47 10pieces) are so worth the wait!! And the spicy turnip condiment that comes along with the dumplings is golddddddd! 名副其實嘅皮薄餡靚😍 Food ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️1/2 Setting ⭐️⭐️ Service ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 📍Dumpling Restaurant🥟 74 Tai Nan St, Prince Edward 🇭🇰

Not a fan of buffets but guess it’s a great place to get most of my Asian cravings fixed! 🥢 The abalone and lobster seafood buffet ($528-618) offers the usual fresh oysters, crab legs🦀, Chinese soup and my new favourites- stir-fried lobster claw with garlic and chili🦞, braised abalone with Hua Diao and steamed fresh abalone with Chinese mushroom and fish maw! I was really full after so many ‘courses’ but no meal is completed with desserts! So I happily ...

Soy sauce ramen with chicken leg🐔🍜 ($138) Richly simmered with mainly chicken and soy sauce, the rich and creamy broth was unlike some of the overly greasy pork based ones, very well-balanced. The noodles, tender chicken leg and beautifully soft-boiler egg were also such a pleasant!! Market fish with sea urchin soy sauce ($128), prosciutto and maitake mushroom tempura ($78), pork and zucchini roll ($58) Fried Japanese bread with housemade red b...

Nagahama No.1 Ramen Nagahama Ramen located at Kau U Fong in Central, few mins walking distance from MTR station. Neat and cozy ramen place run by Japanese chef. Love the high ceiling in particular. We started with marinated squid. It’s small raw squid marinated in miso/japanese soy sauce. Fresh ingredients. A bit salty for me. I believe it comes best with sake or beer. The ramen they offer is truly authentic taste from Japan. There is only one choic...

Tonno🐟 Maguro blue fin tuna, lettuce, tropea red onion, eggplant The tuna was so meaty it almost felt like a slightly seared beef steak.Because it’s not frowned upon when I ordered two mains for lunch Favourite dish- Spaghetti alla chitarra 🍝 Al Dante hand-made black ink spaghetti soaked in rich, creamy seafood sauce and topped with fresh shrimps, mussels and clams Branzino in crosta- Sea bass in celeriac crust, “cacciucco”sauce, sea lettuce The opulent a...

生舊叉燒都好過生你! If it’s charsiu from Mott 32 then I’m fine with the comparison 😢 The barbecued Iberico pork ($325) was tender (almost too tender!), full of flavours, yellow mountain honey glazed and perfectly charred. Just look at that crumbly blackened bits 🤤 But the food was hit and miss- dim sum was nothing impressive but over-salted. Food ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Setting ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 📍 Mott 32🍚 Standard Chartered...

Surfing and turfing on whole Canadian lobster ($598) and 300g wagyu ribeye ($258) (which I’d already had two pieces 🥩before taking the picture!) Cooked in garlic & parsley butter, and served with tomato jam, even tho the lobster wasn’t straight from the rank, it was delicate, fresh and sweet. Growing in the Canadian cold waters, the shell of Canadian lobsters are harder, making its meat firmer and sweeter. Canadian lobster is also famous for its striking ...

Went out with my aunt for a dim sum lunch. This restaurant looked modern comparing to other traditional dim sum restaurants. The seating area was nice and comfortable.    It got a small menu but the prices are reasonable and the portion are decent. Some of the best finds were the steamed chicken feet in bean sauce and steamed spare ribs with black bean sauce. Both had some extremely strong flavours on them and I loved that. BBQ pork buns, spring rolls and chicken wings were ...

I hereby declare the best pho in HK is in Wanchai!!! On a messy Sunday where everything is closed because of the chaos now... this new restaurant has come into my world unexpectedly . The old address is cat's eye which is a fine Japanese fusion omlette restaurant. Not my favorite food, but the quality is good. They have now opened a new pho joint using the same mentality of the Japanese joint. Pretty much working a bowl of pho with the attention like a bowl of Japanese na...

A very warm homey style place in Tai Hang! It’s a very small place but the staff are super warm and welcoming ! All the dumplings are handmade! They are quite small but delicious ! I ordered the fish ball dry noodle which is recommended by the staff. I LOVE LOVE LOVE it! The noodle itself is soooo good! As I’m a person who pay lots attention to the texture! It’s fresh and the sauce is very good because it has pork oil in it! The c...
