往年的平安夜,都會一家三口外出晚飯,至於今年,不用說,一切都泡湯了!在限聚令的法例規定下,即使改為吃午餐,也只可以二人一枱。雖然部份餐廳跟足法例規定,但有更多餐廳利用法例的灰色地帶,將一張餐枱中間加一塊透明隔板變成兩張枱,變相依然可以四人坐在一起。「The Farmhouse」正是其中之一,未至於要一家人在平安夜這個普天同慶的日子分開食飯。疫情下,平安夜的酒店自助餐依然旺場,尤其在晚上六點後禁止堂食的情況下,午市自助餐也要分兩場。上晝要返工,所以訂了2:30的第二場。入座時,所有食物已經refill,一眾侍應經過第一輪自助餐的熱身,運作流程順暢。餐廳所屬酒店只是三星尾四星頭,所以裝修也相對普通,沒有高樓底、也沒有美輪美奐的室內設計,空間感也比較擠迫。始終是聖誕節前夕,充滿聖誕氣氛的裝飾當然少不了。甜品區就擺放了大量只可觀賞、不能食用的薑餅屋及朱古力馴鹿。平安日自助餐成人每位大概HK$450,比起出名的五星級酒店自助餐便宜了30%或以上,菜式款式相信較少,但也有齊刺身、沙律、cold cut / 芝士、凍海鮮、中 / 西 / 印各款熱盤、餐湯、燒烤、live kitchen、甜品;不過,就沒有貴價食材。刺身只有三文魚、希靈魚(即鯡魚)、光澤欠奉的吞拿及油甘,賣相很難引起食慾。日本料理另外還有壽司(甜蛋、熟北寄貝、熟蝦及墨魚),同樣唔吸引;較為特色就有蕎麥麵。沙律吧的蔬菜款式選擇很少,反而原塊芝士就有三種口味 - 雖然只是常見的普通芝士 Cheddar、Parmesan 及 Camembert,但就提供了三種乾果配搭,有心思。cold cut 有三款意大利傳統凍肉:salami(風乾發酵鹽醃肉腸)、mortadella(意大利凍肉腸)及 coppa ham(風乾原塊豬背肉)。意大利風乾豬肉中最出名、最高級的 Parma Ham 就沒有了。冷凍海鮮有藍青口、凍蝦、熟蜆,這個價位當然沒有可能出現開邊龍蝦、松葉蟹腳,但卻有即開生蠔補數。講開又講,近幾年香港的五星級酒店自助餐反而不喜歡提供即開生蠔,寧願採用其他貴價食材取替;事關若干年前某五星級酒店的自助餐曾經因為生蠔引致客人食物中毒,大部份五星級酒店為免重蹈覆轍而影響聲譽,索性取消生蠔。第一次食自助餐見到樽裝汽水任飲,仲有四款口味:可口可樂、雪碧、忌廉及零系可口可樂 。熱盤有不少款式。中菜有鹹蛋黃炒大蝦、麵醬茄子炒雞肉、蝦醬炸豬腩肉。鹹蛋黃炒大蝦惹味,但大蝦就唔夠新鮮,肉質有點脢。蝦醬炸豬腩肉同樣是濃味香口中菜,蝦醬味濃郁、又炸得金黃香口,再加上半肥瘦的豬腩肉,好食。印度菜有印度扁豆、咖喱雞、印式烤雞及幾款印度風味主食:脆薄餅、印度烤餅及印式黃薑香米飯。西餐就有芝士肉丸配番茄醬、紅咖喱青口、烤醃雜菜。芝士肉丸配番茄醬風味最佳,蕃茄醬汁濃郁、酸甜平衡,只稍嫌肉丸未夠鬆化。中式廣東燒味有豉油雞、叉燒及燒鴨。豉油雞賣相還可以;叉燒就完全唔掂,又乾、又硬、欠半肥瘦、冇蜜汁。另外還有一系列廣東滷水美食,滷水味道還可以;不過就只有滷水鴨胸、沒有成本較高的滷水鵝。西式燒烤有大蝦及豬五花腩,所選用的食材同熱盤一樣。豬五花腩切得較為薄身,燒烤起來更香口。另一邊廂還有酒店自家製香腸、燒牛肉及烤雜菜。既然係聖誕節,又怎可以缺少烤火雞及蜜汁烤火腿!不過,實話實說,這兩款食材都只是西方人慶祝聖誕節的傳統食物,味道就真的一般而已。火雞肉粗嚡、欠肉汁、冇乜鮮味就好多人認同;蜜汁烤火腿其實同普通急凍火腿沒有大分別,只不過是原條燒烤、並在表面塗上一層蜜糖脆皮而已。live kitchen 有中式粉麵,也有西式松露蘑菇芝士紐紋粉。後者很好味,從原塊芝士即場刨出芝士碎,再加入鮮忌廉及黑松露醬炮製而成的醬汁,口感creamy、滑溜。另外一款live kitchen菜式就有點奇怪,切片長法包、烤薯仔、cured ham 配芝士忌廉醬汁 ⋯⋯ 很難想像這四種食材的古怪配搭,但估唔到又幾好味。甜品區款式繁多,大部份都添加了聖誕氣息:乾果麵包、西班牙肉桂油條、Christmas log cake、聖誕甜圈、聖誕曲奇等等,味道中規中矩。雪糕就採用本地品牌 XTC gelato,挑選了超過10款口味,總有一款啱心水,抵讚。平安日自助餐成人每位大概HK$450,在芸芸酒店當中算價格相宜。當然,一分錢一分貨,食物質素未算出色,但勝在長者及12歲以下小童有折扣優惠;最最緊要還有聖誕老人出場!這一個關鍵點就並非每一間酒店都做到,即使是五星級酒店。雖然那個由侍應扮演的瘦版聖誕老人有點失真,但已經滿足了小公主的願望。 continue reading

疫情下興起staycation,襯住阿女學校假期同埋佢嘅生日月份,我哋也嘗嘗staycation的滋味2日1夜package $980 (未加10%) 包房間一晚,兩個 lunch buffet加兩個早餐box set,是經酒店官網訂。 lunch buffet分兩個時段,第一個12:00 – 1:30,第二個2:00 – 3:30,揀咗第一個時段。可能平日嘅關係,網上成日睇見啲人話要排隊入座,我哋十二點零幾分到達,不用排隊,食到一點半,亦無人趕你走, 我哋終於食到兩點鐘餐廳開揚,有海景,主要用木嚟裝修,幾有度假feel。 食物主要分熱食同凍食區,每個區域入口都有專人提供酒精搓手液,確保衛生。凍食區最吸睛係個轉轉雪糕盤睇啱邊隻雪糕,話畀佢哋知,就幫你盛上,試咗幾款,薑味好特別, 值得一試還有檸檬批,呢個酸甜適中,好食魚生類別不多但夠新鮮,有專人即場撈嘅沙律,煙燻凍肉,凍蝦,凍青口,麵包,等等……仲有好多人攞嘅支裝汽水,我就鍾情熱飲,有咖啡和不同茶包選擇熱食方面,唔少得即場切嘅安格斯黑牛西冷,生熟度適中,還有滷水檔,即場淥嘅粉麵,點心,咖哩, 薄餅,各種熱葷,味道不錯,相對嚟講,凍食區比熱食區吸引。我哋坐咗大約兩個鐘,如果真係限制buffet時間得個半鐘,就未免趕一點了。 喺官網睇,lunch buffet $298/位。 食完行出去,先發覺原來仲有戶外場地,幾休閒 continue reading

最近大家都少了外出食飯, 前排趁疫情無甘嚴重的時候, 我和家人就到酒店食lunch buffet, 這間酒店環境很好, 可以望到海景, 而且地方寬敞, 人與人之間座位間距疏落, 坐得舒服, 唔會很迫。因為疫情關係, 大家都比較注重衛生, 有職員會提醒大家帶口罩才拎食物, 並提供搓手液, 食物亦蓋好。其次是食物種類, 食物分了冷熱區, 冷盤區分別有青口,凍蝦,沙律有Caesar salad 和泰式沙律, 亦有壽司, 冷麵, 刺身,芝士,火腿,水果如提子, 哈蜜瓜,西瓜等。沙律和凍蝦, 味道一般,壽司尚可,唔算很突出,但都算新鮮。至於熱盤區,分別有炒蜆, 粉金邊粉, 燒安格斯牛肉, 烤紐倫堡腸, 烤腩肉, 雞翼, 炒飯, 京都骨, 燒味,粉麵類,各款咖哩,仲有黑松露忌廉長通粉等, 我比較欣賞反而是一碗雲吞麵,想不到一碗平凡的雲吞麵, 蛋麵麵條爽滑彈牙,簡單得來美味可口。另外, 黑松露忌廉長通粉亦路錯, 反而燒味和咖哩則一般,湯品椰子湯和粟米忌廉湯味道普通,椰子湯偏清淡。而這裏另一特色是有傳統樽裝汽水, 因為食物種類繁多,小妹我大部分都淺嘗輒止,留胃口食甜品。甜品方面, 我極力推介XTC Gelato雪糕, 絕對不能錯過, 因為雪糕低脂,而且味道清新,唔會太甜,比其他自助餐movenpick或haggen dazz雪糕, 更健康美味,我試左十款味道,比較喜歡咖啡味,奶茶味, 焦糖味。 至於其他甜品,比較特別的是Donut, 百香果班蘭蛋糕和橘子咖啡奶凍。歌劇院則略嫌太甜,其他如燉蛋,芒果布甸,檸檬撻則普通。總括而言, 以酒店環境, 食物種類, 味道等,性價比算高,如果喜歡食甜品的話,更是值回票價。   continue reading

呢度其實想嚟食雪糕好耐,但係一路都夾唔到時間,今次就到差唔多時間又引到迷你蛋糕,即刻book即刻食刺身其實仲有好多唔同款,但係有太多嘢食,只係揀咗3款試,新鮮厚切,連少有既油甘魚都有凍海鮮每樣攞少少試吓,試完就算,蜆同蝦最好食,要留肚食雪糕同熟食Cold cut煙三文魚好香香草味,薯仔沙律好驚喜中湯冬瓜薏米去濕恩物,湯好清無油,refresh味蕾,為食其他嘢做準備叉燒小蛋糕最鍾意食叉燒,全部半肥瘦,如果比例比較瘦會好啲雪糕試咗焦糖,朱古力,薑味,士多啤梨,小蛋糕好欣賞薑味好特別好出色,迷你蛋糕食咗好多朱古力甜品樣樣攞咗一件試吓 continue reading

餐廳環境舒服,服務態度好,會主動收食完既碗碟,但食物的選擇性略少。有即整沙律,芝士火腿。冷盤海鮮數款,剌身質素不錯。但熱菜選擇真的很當少,主食菜式佔一半以上,然後重頭戲只有即煎牛扒/豬及即切西冷牛扒羊扒。其次只有燒味滷味,韓式菜例如炒粉絲、海鮮煎餅、炒年糕。有煮面檔,不過係並普通既中式湯面配丸仔西式菜式真的少之又少。最失望係無即煮西式意粉同燉湯😩最後甜品選擇係最多,有雪糕、蛋糕、馬卡龍、西班牙油炸鬼等。雪糕賣相吸引,味道非常一般總括來說,我個人應該我不會再光顧以$678既價錢可以有更多更好的選擇加上有幾款菜式都無提供,cp值低Btw,由6點食到8點,眼見個場有坐到一半咁滿、但唔知點解會俾d角落位陰暗位你又可能真係full book 的話,咁佢又無做到處所既座位數目一半🙈🙈🙈 continue reading
