I am back for afternoon tea~ I went for some hot dishes last time and I was attracted by its afternoon tea set, as which girl don’t like a fabulous tea set lol?We arrived the restaurant around 2pm with reservation and we got the window seats, I would say it is the best seat there!!Before we made order, they served us some bread.  The drinks arrived ahead the tea set, we ordered a mocktail, Pineapple‧Lemongrass Ginger Ale. There is a rich pineapple and ginger flavor, however the lemongrass flavor is not that outstanding. The drink is quite refreshing so is good for a hot summer or a sweaty day

 Another drink will be Guava‧Oolong Tea as I think tea is the best option to match with the tea set. It was kinds of a new flavor to me, I have never thought about adding any other flavor to the Chinese Oolong tea. It can tell the restaurant really does lots of experiment to explore different combinations of various ingredients. The guava taste is rather strong and it matching the oolong’s bittersweet flavor

 The tea set serves along with the salad, basically is just veggies and cherry tomato with balsamic vinegar. Nonetheless, I always love to eat balsamic vinegar because of its sour taste

 Soon after, the Afternoon Tea Set for Two has been served to the table
. I have high expectation on it and it didn’t disappoint me at all. The colorful bites are placing in order on a white rectangle plate, it looks like a piece of art to me. As there are too many bites on the plate, I will separate into two parts to introduce.

 First Part:
There are Beetroot Salmon, Crab Meats and Cucumber Salad, Tuna Tartare, Foie Gras Terrine and four pieces of chocolate.

The beetroot salmon has been put on a shrimp biscuit with dill on top, yet you can’t really tell is made with beetroot or not.

The soft crabmeats and crunchy cucumber combines into a nice texture and is refreshing.
The tuna tartare is tender and it tastes delightful with the charcoal crisp
.

These chocolate are made by the restaurant themselves as well, which there are different filling within the chocolate. It is hard to figure out what are the ingredients for different pieces, but they all seem surprising to me

 Second Part:
There are Purple Potato Chocolate Tart, Parma Ham with Green Peas, Lemon Meringue, Walnut Cakes and Macaroons.

The param ham has been dried to crispy texture and is better to eat the crunchy mashed green peas. The taste is not too bad, since the peas can balance the salty flavor of the parma ham.

The lemon meringue is about right, especially it is not soggy, the lemon curd can neutralize the sweetness of the icing sugar
.

Somehow the walnut cakes are in different shape, yet they taste like the same. The moisture and sponge cake with a bit of crunchy walnut, how can you go wrong with that
?

There are four flavors of macaroons, strawberry, chocolate, peanut butter and lemon, personally I like the lemon one as there is a sweet and sour taste.

 Purple potato was the big hit before, now has been slowed down by a lot. It was strange that there is a durian flavor within this purple potato chocolate tart
, you can try to see if you would have the same feeling and taste like mine lol.
Some bites are not the same with what they wrote on the menu, I don’t know why
. For instance, the parma ham suppose to serve with goat cheese and there should be beet candy instead of walnut cakes, etc. Maybe they ran out of those ingredients? It would be better if the staff have informed or noticed us about that.
