To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

踏入十二月聖臨近,該酒店已將自助餐的價錢畧為提高。價錢畧高不是問題,能否提供具質素的食材才是重點。是晚再次光顧,看看該酒店的自助餐能否仍保持以往水平。天氣漸凍,踏入餐廳後眼光被五蛇羹所吸引。入座後飛快取一盅品嘗。盅內蛇羹其實祇得半滿,可能為免浪費,但源源不絕供應,我這蛇羹迷足足吃了六七盅。亦有薄脆提供,蛇羹質量與坊間蛇舖相比,當然未及,但亦達可接受水平,不竟市面能提供蛇羹的自助餐實在不多。中國人一般較喜歡熱食,我亦不例外。能供應龍蝦的酒店自助餐不算少,但大多是冰鎮的,但這裏提供的是剛剛出爐的芝士焗龍蝦,雖然註明每次限取兩隻,但供應源源不絕,到用餐時間快完結時仍有供應,實屬難得。焗龍蝦泡製得宜,混上芝士香味的龍蝦肉有嚼頭且味道佳,是我該晚的鍾愛。北京填鴨由廚師現場切開奉上,達合格水平,但伴食的薄餅則畧嫌過厚。班戟是現場煎製,配料則由顧客自行添加。咬落煙靭彈牙,感覺清淡健康。火炙壽司屬上乘之作,三文魚質高,經火炙製作,味香濃且入口即溶,吃後令人印象難忘。烤芝士受很多顧客所鍾愛,經常見不長不短的人龍輪候。濃香芝士味吃後齒頰留香,歷久仍在,屬高水平之製作。冰鎮海鮮達一般大酒店水平,喜愛進食者

,職工服務水平亦高。是晚有一負責添加食物的㕑師途經見我們等候找侍應影相,主動給我們拍照,頗值一讚。結帳時侍應亦主動告之那張信用卡最多優惠,再值一讚。
