To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

LAND AND SEA FIESTA” BUFFET AT THE PLACE The Place, Cordis, Hong Kong’s all-day dining restaurant presents “Land and Sea Fiesta” buffet, offering a wide range of jet-fresh seafood and sumptuous meat specialties.


Embark on a gastronomic journey with an array of refreshing seafood on ice such as Seasonal Fresh Oysters, Blue Mussels, Shrimps and Crayfish, plus a selection of freshly cut sashimi, made-to-order sushi and salad live station. A selection of delectable hot dishes including Beef Rendang, Roasted Pork Knuckle, Pan-Fried seabass with herb cream sauce, Carbonara Pasta, Hainanese Chicken Rice, Spicy Chicken Fillet, Crab Congee and Miso Soup Noodle and many more will be unlimitedly served. Highlight of the buffet also includes the Naan Bread Live Station by Indian Chef, complemented with different types of curry dishes. Guests may indulge with even more extravagant seafood and meaty dishes during dinner*. Popular items include Canadian Snow Crab Legs, Baked Cheese Lobster, Pan-Seared Foie Gras, Peking Duck Live Station, Grilled Lamb Rack, US Prime Rib, and nourishing Double Boiled Soup. Guests may also tailor made their favourite colourful Sashimi Poke Bowl.
