位於藍屋附近,不算就腳。 5時55分到,見一條排隊龍,晚飯6時開始,所以不用企太耐便入座。三排木枱橫向門口,第一排是4、4陣(每邊坐4人),第二、三排是6、4陣。另一邊水吧可坐5人,整店座位可見一斑。簡單的木枱配四腳櫈,燈光較得偏暗,很有晚間在街頭吃小食的感覺。如此擠迫環境都見排隊人龍,令人滿心期待⋯⋯餐牌食物有限,前菜而至甜品,通通印在一張枱墊紙上。碗有漬沒洗好呀!泰式虎蝦炒金邊粉 $158落單後不久炒金邊粉火速送上。Pad Thai 講求的甜酸咸味道都控制得很平衡,金邊粉有咬勁但略嫌比較油,要榨點青檸汁解膩兼提升味道。明白金邊粉不可炒太久,但上菜時熱度實在不足,鑊氣亦欠奉。雖然虎蝦肉質很鮮嫩彈牙,很有驚喜,但整體來說這道菜只是不過不失,建議試其他。招牌泰式和牛濃湯粉侍應熱心推介。深褐色的湯底濃郁,味道調教適中,不會偏酸或偏甜,滷水料/香料適量,不會過咸。後勁有微辣,足夠刺激起味蕾,湯底做得出色。對於食客來說,一碗$158 的船麵,除了湯底,和牛一定是焦點。在被熱湯浸熟前,大家趕快把最矜貴的和牛送入口,肉質是嫩滑的,失望是牛味不濃。而牛腩則只是煑得腍,沒驚喜。麵底方面,侍應告知是檬粉。吸飽滿滿濃湯的檬粉滑過喉嚨,再配一塊腍中帶酥的炸豬皮,令口感變得有層次。大啖大啖吃的話差不多兩、三口檬粉己吃完!雖然牛肉份量足,吃完整碗還是沒有飽足感。本來船麵份量就是細細碗的⋯⋯芒果糯米飯$98用上泰國芒,果肉挺身又新鮮。糯米飯有一定的爽滑度,不會黏口。裹在椰漿的脆綠豆仁,增加口感。略嫌椰槳只是死甜,不是鹹中帶甜。而材料只用白糯米,沒混入硬實而Q彈的黑糯米,令整個甜品味道單一,層次感不足,而且偏甜。有期望有失望😞,坐近門口,燈光相對中間位置暗,入夜後更有點不是浪漫的黑暗感。坐在沒椅背的四腳凳,還得與其他食客搭枱排排坐,感覺既侷促又拘謹。有大排檔feel但不是付大排檔價錢!整頓飯就在「想快啲食完走人」的心態下完成。 continue reading
