最後有甜品及咖啡或茶,己忘記是甚麼甜品,印像中不是太有特色;皆因朋友們為我預備了一個有我名字的Tiramisu生日蛋榚,還有一個位外籍歌手彈著結他為我唱生日歌,而坐在附近的外國人也為我鼓掌歡呼,我當然舉杯點頭以示謝意(幾有大人物feel)。其實這位歌手會在8時後出現,輪流的為每一枱客人獻唱,遇到有些好玩的客人,會要求他點唱,大家又一齊拍掌叫囂助慶,十分有氣氛。最後,餐廳還奉送每人一隻碟留念。

總括:這裏的食物當然好味,但我更喜歡這裏的氣氛,五星級得來又帶著一點causal,意大利民族談話時就是比較豪邁,在這裏吃意大利菜都不用以耳語交談, 也不用忌諱因高談濶論而惹來目光,所以我們六個女士肆無忌憚,吱喳本色呈現無遺; 真多謝各位好友,讓我吃了一頓盡情盡慶的生日飯。

再次解凍一個雪左三年幾的食評:

先講到環境,無前兩者般grand,個人黎講,意大利菜同法蘭西有別,照計前者應該casual一點.無法國菜般整色整水.唔會慢食你幾個鐘,更加唔使執到正一正,盛裝扮紳士.


來到Mistral,當然要試下個Signature Dishes龍蝦意粉.
麵條有咬口,龍蝦新鮮.仲有個醬汁濃度剛好.


食完仲有隻碟送,全球咩咩意大利飲食協會成員,招牌菜之紀念品,The Mistral能成其中之一,一定有其過人之處.可惜,最後無囉到隻碟走.


另外白松露牛膝,不時不食之選,撞著當造期.才有機會品嘗此少少幾塊"白鑽石".濃烈香味,停留在口腔內幾個鐘,陰魂不散.牛膝,肉質嫩滑,可惜比白鑽石搶盡風頭.


論價錢,同樣比之前所講果兩間便宜,兩個人如果唔開酒的話,一千銀左右.如果撞正有信用咭promo之類,可能更平少許.



之前講到話意大利菜,理應casual.同女仔來談心,實屬有點難度,如果一大班人來gathering,那就絕無問題.食得美式意菜多,偶爾升一次班,亦無不可.仲有,唔使特別dress-up,鄰近中國城華懋九反地,著咁靚幹麼?



後記: 三年幾後今天,不知而家變成點.

I tried the brunch of this rest last SUnfay. It cost $300 per person but really only a few things to be eaten. There are many ham, but the quality is not good. Have many bread, but not delicious. Spegetti --> only average. Soup --> potato garlic soup, poorer than you buy in Cafe De Coral!!!!erally not good !

I went to this restaurant for family dinner last week. Although I have never been there personally, I have long heard about the expensive menu and the "free plate" that you will receive after tasting the restaurant signature dish..

First of all, Wine Menu - a set of reasonably priced Italian Fine Wine, have opened a bottle of Aramone at HKD 800, which is the same price as the same bottle at Knutsford Terrance, full body with good aroma, a good recommendation from the staffs indeed.

Food - the signature dish - Lobster Sphagetti, is average, Lobster is fresh, added with hand-made pasta on tomato sauce, the overall taste is quite good indeed, but priced at HKD 280?, is a bit too much...On the other hand, steak and sea bass is below standard... but one dish that I must recommend to all, is the Rack of Lamb, nicely marinated, with two chuck of garlics sandwiched inside the rack of lamb, it gives the lamb a great favour indeed... and it is only HKD 250...

n a nutshell, some od the dishes and services are good here, but with the decorations as such, and marked-up heavily, I think there are more valuable choices elsewhere.... yet... I do miss the Rack of Lamb there

Orechiette Pasta with Lobster and Cherry Tomato
Orechiette 唔係home made,但係佢家鄉野,做得都唔錯boston龍蝦都好新鮮連車厘茹一起吃好開胃加埋arugula一齊就更可口.

Home Made Italian Sturgeon with Gorgonzola Mousse
魚煎得麻麻,可能比較喜愛肉質幼滑的魚,而sturgeon就唔係呢種,特別喜愛那pan fried red chikory帶點bitter taste 及gorgonzola mousse的組合,三種不同顏色的bell pepper sauce 普通了一點但亦做得唔錯.

Pan Fried Beef Tenderloin " Rossini", Red Onion Marmelade with Lobster Sauce
Rossini做法是用黑松露,鵝肝加肉汁做成,但他將這道菜改了板,煎好牛柳上放一片鵝肝及紅洋蔥marmelade,伴以用杬油蒸至七成再用白松露油調味的青蔥,味道不錯,如果不喜歡吃生蔥都會因白松露油的味道而想試,牛柳伴鵝肝不是什麼新野,但紅洋蔥marmelade就幾好,呢碟整体都唔錯.

Coffee Sabayon
香港人已經被寵壞了,甜品presentation差一點都唔接受,coffee Sabayon 即叫即做用薄脆做成的杯盛著上,味道剛好不太甜又有coffee味,這個甜品味道口感都可以,但就差了presentation.

綜合各樣菜式的味道,烹調方法及擺設,整体都算唔錯,唯獨擺切差了點,當然這些只是個人意見而已。

locate係海景嘉福既basement,無海景睇~不過環境清幽,較適合couple或情侶,一大班friend gathering就唔係咁好喇!服務都算幾好既,不過去果晚d waiter & waitress 就褂住招呼我後面班日本客而冷落左我囉~食物賣相當然係一流水準啦,hotel既食物一向都係上等貨兼非常新先啦,味道都算不俗既!唯一唔好就係太貴喇,我果晚兩個人吃左$14xx呀!兩sets 5 course set-dinner 加兩杯house-wine咋!

今晚同d同事去依度食飯, 呀head請~ ^_^set dinner $495~ 但太多o野啦, 食唔晒, 所以散叫~我o地三位女仕order一個appetizer加兩個main dishes~ 一個pizza, 好大個~ waiter好識做咁分六份, 食完已經飽o左大半~ 連波菜葉食, 好味~ Appetizer叫o左個龍蝦沙律, ok啦~ 另外仲有劍魚, 好彈牙, 好鮮甜~dessert兩個Tiramisu三個分~ 好creamy, 同帝苑buffet o既tiramisu好似~ 唔錯~Service好周到~ 環境.....我以為好淨, 但係比想像中嘈o左d~ 不過就係因為咁, 唔會太formal, casual d, 較適合gathering~
