在幾個月前到過呢間餐廳食半自助lunch後, 今日我們一行3人再度來這裡為我的buddy慶祝生日🎉; 可能因為週末所以只有餐湯或前菜buffee二選其一, 我地就選擇要buffee, 呢到既芝士脆條真係好好食芝士味剛剛好不太濃, 而且脆條身好鬆脆, 令人一食唔停口😋; 今次試左一款新野, 我好少在意大利餐廳食Carbonara, 今次朋友好想食, 所以我地選了其中一個主菜為Carbonara, 意大利粉做得軟硬適中、乾身, 個汁唔係平時cafe見的 ‘杰攤攤’而係剛好沾上每條意粉, 而且汁有一股鴨油香, 吞了那口意粉後, 口腔內依然有那股鴨油香😃 continue reading

母親節前一日,有加價,食得特別放心。一行四人來個半自助午餐。選自助沙律吧就冇得飲海鮮湯。海鮮湯都多海鮮.似即者,,但就細左D.沙律吧有2X款野,款款都唔差...有心思泡製過,個人喜歡沙律吧!主菜分開試左幾款煎魚PIZZA長通粉主菜就比較一般,食得落肚,會願意食哂既,味道冇咩驚喜。甜品吧,跟餐咖啡都好味。總結:食沙律吧同甜品吧都足夠食回價錢,抵得返,主菜可以當伴菜。可以再來! continue reading

Mistral is one of our favourite family dining places in Tsim Sha Tsui 😁 It is located on floor B2 at the Intercontinental Grand Stanford Hotel. The restaurant has a dark and classy mirrors for its decoration. Not to mention that there is also a 'smart casual' dress code so be classy! 😝After my Easter trip, I came straight from the airport to Mistral for dinner as well as to enjoy some family moments. We, a family of four plus my brother's friend, ordered a few starters and a 🥂 to begin with. We had the Parma ham, Burrata cheese and a quinoa salad. As a cheese lover, I highly recommend the Buttata cheese as it's very creamy and fresh. If you eat the cheese together with their homemade tomato 'jelly', it gives a melting feeling in your mouth. 😋🍅🧀For our mains, we ordered ravioli, grilled chicken breast, pan-fried seabass and there was a seasonal special on artichokes and chicken so I ordered that: grilled chicken breast with artichoke chips. People usually think that chicken breasts taste bland and rough. The chicken they serve here are cooked to order and are very tender. Their pastas are freshly made and the fish dishes were quite light. 👍🏻🐟🍗🍝For desserts, we had two Mistral chocolate cakes to share as we were quite full. It was our first time to order the mistral cake and just by watching the waiter pouring whisky vanilla sauce onto the chocolate 'ball' is quite entertaining. The chocolate gradually melts and you can see the vanilla ice cream and chocolate cake 'hiding inside'. The dessert is very chocolatey and rich but the ice cream just balances out the sweetness. 無食自助午餐或晚餐好一段日子,相對都較少光顧酒店內嘅餐廳,而一聽到晌五星級酒店內嘅意大利餐廳,感覺就會喺收費唔便宜嘅用餐之地。早前,聽到好友介紹「海景嘉福酒店」內嘅「海風餐廳」,推介佢哋個半自助午餐,講到眉飛色舞,點樣點樣好食,性格比高,搞到心癢癢,所以,趁個悠閒周六,同老婆嚟撐枱腳食餐晏。因為晌「開飯喇」寫到第1,500篇,亦特意揀依一篇作為「里程碑」之作!餐廳位處酒店地庫二層,加上喺周六嘅午餐時段,客唔算多,所以,氣氛比較清幽。踏進去,內裡環境唔喺嗰種奢華嘅意大利風,而喺有種恬靜嘅鄉村氣息。啡色格仔陶瓷地磚,深啡木系枱櫈,再加上木框間開唔同區域,配合皎潔嘅燈光,令環境明亮!就算去到1:00pm最旺嘅時段,目測都喺見四乘客滿左右,不過,就留意到客人喺被安排坐得散開啲。而我倆被安排坐晌餐廳靠左角落區域,牆上掛有多張黑白人物相,都似喺日常生活照,正好帶出輕省嘅氣氛。而老婆背靠梳化椅,墊上兩個「咕筍」,佢話非常舒服好坐。不過,最吸引小弟反而喺部份柱躉位掛上一隻又一隻以食材為主題,卻漫畫化咗嘅瓷碟,每隻更畫上一家意大利餐廳名及其所屬意大利嘅城市,非常得意。標榜提供純正嘅意大利菜嘅海風餐廳,逢周六所推出嘅半自助午餐,包前菜、意大利麵或主菜、甜品及餐飲,定價$328 + 10%,匯豐信用卡做緊8折,所以折實每人$295。而平日,可以唔使食晒成份「全餐」,可以前菜搭甜品,前菜搭意大利麵……等等,收費會變得相宜些少。雖然,個午餐已包餐飲,但如果你好喜歡飲果汁、特飲或餐酒,佢哋都提供多一個優惠選擇俾客人,就喺任飲汽水、果汁、雜果賓治($68一位)或幾款紅、白餐酒($138一位)。麵包籃落單後,先由侍應送上共有兩款意式麵包嘅麵包籃,兩款麵包同屬口感軟熟而帶煙韌,伴上香草醬及蕃茄蓉,前者幽香,後者鮮活。麵包啱食嘅話喺可以再添,因為開放式廚房裡面就有一座巨型烤爐,除薄餅,亦見啲麵包喺不時出爐,出爐後就放晌沙律吧旁。前菜喺二揀一:自選意式前菜或南瓜玉桂湯,其實咁嘅安排,個人覺得有點怪,與其講怪,就不如話佢喺有啲小家。識計數嘅都極少人會為一樖樹而放棄個森林去揀個湯,其實,個南瓜玉桂湯又唔似意大利海鮮湯一類高成本嘅湯品,大可擺埋出嚟供客人自由享用囉!沙律吧未講到啲意式前菜,先講講個沙律吧,共有4款沙律菜伴「4款」醬汁(黑醋沙律汁、凱撒沙律汁、法式沙律汁、千島醬),其實醬汁後面仲有好多支唔同味道嘅橄欖油,可惜當時無留意到而錯過咗,所以,一直以為得4款。沙律菜旁仲有煙三文魚及9款沙律配菜俾客人自由組合,包括檸檬、水瓜榴、紅洋蔥、甜粟米、甘筍絲、車厘茄、紅腰豆、青瓜片、燈籠椒。再過啲就喺3款嚟自意大利嘅芝士拼盤,包括Taleggio(牛奶軟芝士),Parmesan(巴馬臣芝士)及Fontina(芳堤娜芝士),更備有3款特色醬:芥末果子、松露蜜糖及濃縮黑醋。啲芝士及特色醬,配麵包又得,配沙律都得。小弟就當然乜都想試,所以,第一碟沙律碟就樣樣揀啲,話雖如此,都擺到成碟滿晒。啲沙律菜非常新鮮,入口冰涼爽脆,咬落嗦嗦聲,只嫌幾款沙律醬汁欠特色啲;沙律配菜亦唔見太有睇頭,所以,胃納細嘅朋友就不妨飛走依部份。但喺,啲意大利芝士點都要試一、兩款,至少都要試試較少見嘅Taleggio及Fontina,芝士味好有個性,沾些少松露蜜糖,非常過癮。自選意式前菜比起主菜,我反而覺得個意式前菜吧更加喺亮點,放晌近入口位置,一大張長枱,陳列出足足超過30款前菜,簡直意氣「豐」發,好多仲要喺未試過。從眾多張相片歸納出,有以下款式,己盡量順序列晒出嚟,不過應該有三數款唔喺好知喺乜名。款式如下:哈蜜瓜配巴馬風乾火腿、南瓜沙律、意大利青瓜銀魚柳沙律、墨魚仔、迷迭香煙燻豬肉、吞拿魚豆沙律、香橙紅菜頭沙律、烤香菇、蕃茄燴蔬菜、烤甜椒、意式蝦沙律、傳統意式沙律、意式扭紋餅乾及薄脆片、水牛芝士蕃茄、醃蕃茄乾、醃雅枝竹、醃洋蔥、橄欖、吞拿魚釀蕃茄、欖油浸煙燻芝士、牛肉、露筍蛋餅、鹹牛舌、小牛肉片伴吞拿魚醬、豬肉香腸、煙燻火腿、風乾牛肉、沙樂美腸、豬頸肉。除咗個別較大路並曾經試過嘅前菜外,差唔多喜歡食嘅、有特色嘅、未試過嘅,都一一夾上碟成為我嘅意式前菜拼盤,睇相就知有幾豐富。由於揀落嘅款式眾多,就無謂逐一分享,但質素絕對唔會叫人失望,食罷令人非常滿足!其中重點想講講當中嘅「迷迭香煙燻豬肉」(Lardo with Rosemary),正正就喺兩個月前晌上環Upper Modern Bistroo食過嘅意大利Colonnata地區嘅鹽漬豬脂薄片(Lardo di Colonnata),因為真喺種小弟覺得幾神奇嘅食材,明明肥豬脂一片,但口感極似巴馬風乾火腿咁,唔喺咁肥、咁膩。去到自選一款嘅意大利麵或主菜類,選擇共有6款:寬條麵、焗茄子、煎鱸魚、燒牛仔膝、豬肉腸釀羊扒(+$120)及薄餅。輕煎鱸魚、甜薯餅、蕃茄老婆揀煎鱸魚,賣相方面,比較平實,以甜薯餅墊底,放點意大利青瓜,再加上鱸魚伴蕃茄蓉醬。主角鱸魚,入口表皮甘香脆口,但就肯定無上次晌觀塘MIC Kitchen嘅烤智利鱸魚咁嫩滑,較之為扎實,但仍不失魚鮮味,配蕃茄蓉醬喺較大路常規做法;甜薯餅喺以刨薄片嘅甜薯一層疊一層焗製而成,非常有口感。燒牛仔膝、薯蓉、扒雜菜小弟則揀燒牛仔膝,牛仔膝切成一小件一小件放晌薯蓉上,賣相我就覺得唔合格,被人感覺喺碎濕濕,而且,肉質有少少偏韌,還好加咗少少芥末籽,沾點燒汁,味道唔錯。反而個薯蓉做得好綿滑,薯香味十足。兩道主菜都只屬中規中矩,更突顯出啲意式前菜喺成餐飯嘅賣點。甜品一環,餐牌寫住「自選甜品」,睇英文你就明喺自助甜品吧,陣容唔喺好強盛,只有7款,但各款都甚具質素,稱得上貴精不貴多。既然只得7款,對於喺甜品迷嘅小弟,當然可以一次過試勻佢哋啦,兼詳細同大家分享。海風朱古力蛋糕,聽聞喺招牌之作,朱古力味極之香濃,散發出甘苦不膩嘅香味,質感挺實而帶點綿綿軟心;意大利芝士餅絕對喺高水準作,海綿蛋糕底浸透咖啡酒,濕潤有酒香,中間嘅馬卡風芝士打得輕盈,滑溜到不得了,糝下嘅唂咕粉甘甘苦苦,提升味道嘅層次;拿破崙卷,以酥皮捲起吉士,喺少有嘅做法,酥皮鬆脆富牛油香,吉士軟滑好有蛋味;藍莓芝士餅,質素穩打穩紮,餅底目顯過厚,但芝士餅心鹹香軟綿,藍莓醬酸甜細膩;焗黃梅杏仁撻,撻殼鬆化,微微滲出杏仁嘅香味,而蛋漿內放上又大又園嘅黃梅,十分清甜;法式焦糖燉蛋,幾款意大利甜點做得出色,個法式燉蛋亦不俗,燉蛋幼滑有蛋香,焦糖做得薄身夠脆;意式奶凍,質感好啱我心水,柔滑得嚟有點實淨,唔會過於削身,既有奶香,又有雲呢嗱香氣,旁邊有幾款醬汁,小弟就揀咗士多啤梨口味作配襯。鮮奶咖啡、洋甘菊午餐包熱飲一杯,並附有一小粒意大利朱古力,而咖啡可以揀鮮奶咖啡、意大利泡沫咖啡……之類,所以,小弟杯鮮奶咖啡賣相拉得唔錯,口感還可以,未算勻均極致;熱茶如伯爵茶、洋甘菊、茉莉花茶……等等,老婆杯洋甘菊稍稍淡,亦未知喺出自咩品牌,因為,若以酒店級嚟講,一般奉上嘅熱茶大多數都喺以壺上,但佢哋只喺晌你面前斟下一杯就算。甜品旁仲有生果吧,數款生果中,啲香桃十分鮮甜清爽,但最估唔到嘅喺有紅酒燴梨,做得梨甜酒香,晌成餐飯嘅結尾來一小碗鮮果拼盤,清新一下之餘,又幫助吓消化。閒靜嘅環境確喺讓人更可用心細嚐食物嘅味道,而半自助形式嘅午餐,一系列意式前菜,可以食到多種精選食材;最後以多款自選特色甜品作結,讓客人渡過一段悠閒而味美嘅午飯好時光。但服務方面,則有點保留,好似餐湯、熱茶,都給人有種唔大方嘅感覺;另外,海風餐廳屹立多年,儲埋唔少熟客,其實經理、店員跟熟客「打牙骹」我喺唔介意,飲食要有啲交流,不過,不停「打牙骹」而忽略對其他客應有嘅基本服務,以及「打牙骹」講到興起嘅聲浪而騷擾到其他客人,就值得留意吓,故此,服務喺俾得較低分嘅一欄! continue reading

Still one of my favorite Italian restaurant. I love the great variety of appetizer and desserts. One thing that can be improved is the bread which would be nice if it is served warm. After struggling for a while if I should take only starter and dessert, I decided to go for a 3-course set. I chose snapper which is crispy though a bit over cooked. Parma ham with melon and beetroot salad are must try items. Overall it was a satisfying lunch to kick off the holiday! continue reading
