2. 煎魚餅 ─ 煎得香口、魚肉有咬口、色澤大小適中,呢D係standard,做唔到不如唔好賣,所以佢係合格,但係冇驚喜,反而俾你點個汁真係有驚喜,辣味、酸味、蔥味等等配合得好好,配上任何香口煎炸野一定冇問題,真係令到一舊平凡嘅魚餅變得不平凡,值得一讚再讚。

3. 白菜炒牛肉─ 呢樣真係冇特別喇,剩係想食條菜啫。

其實本來想叫肉餅,不過賣晒,陳奕迅話好好食,所以下次一定要食。

跟住叫咗一杯鹹檸雪碧同兩杯凍奶茶,老闆娘話要拮到個鹹檸爛晒先好味,冇問題,我聽佢講!都真係唔錯。

埋單HK$199,三個人都OK啦。

P.S 所有老闆伙記都好好人,見我周圍影相,個招牌熄咗都特登開番,最後我都攞咗佢地email俾番d相佢地。

從來沒想過我會願意坐戶外食一頓晚飯(尤其是在7月份)﹐但這家店的確有驚喜﹗口水雞沒有我要求的辣﹐廚師把口味改成了一般香港人喜愛的味道。多加了一些皮蛋和粉皮還不差﹐滿特別的~ 番茄汁蝦這還不錯﹐一個很普通的菜但確食得出廚師是很用心煮的。

看過了大家的食評和介紹,便決定了晚上到此一試~~7時15左右到達餐廳,不是很多人,還不需要等位,可以即時有位。一坐下,伙計已經即時把大大的餐牌放到枱上,之前看過不同的介紹,都是介紹這裡最出名的鹹蛋蒸肉餅,我當然唔會錯過喇~~~~最後叫左以下既食物~~~(1) 鹹蛋蒸肉餅這個餸可以滿足到色香味三個的標準,首先這個餸在視覺上給了人很大的滿足,一個大大的肉餅山,再加一個圓圓的咸蛋黃在頂上,已經達到了視覺的享受,同時這樣的做法,可以令肉餅有更加平均的受熱,令每一個位置都到達剛好的狀態。熱騰騰的肉餅,散發出淡淡的肉香和咸蛋香,滿足到大家的嗅覺,會令人忍不住馬上把它吃下。吃下的時候,完全感受到這個肉餅的美味,因為肉餅中加了肥豬肉,所以肉餅十分鬆化,加上一個大大的鹹蛋黃,送飯非常一流......(2) 椒鹽鮮魷呢個餸唔係民聲出名既菜式,但係因為我係好鐘意食椒鹽鮮魷既,所以都係叫黎試下~~但係惡夢就發生喇,估唔到真係噤差,成個椒鹽鮮魷完全係冇味既,剩係得油味,真係可以連少少既鹹同辣味都冇,真係完全叫錯左~~~~(3) 豆豉鯪魚炒油墨菜最後呢一個餸又係個人喜好,想食好耐但唔係好多地方都有得食.點知佢都係

(1) 鹹蛋蒸肉餅

但係惡夢就發生喇,估唔到真係噤差,成個椒鹽鮮魷完全係冇味既,剩係得油味,真係可以連少少既鹹同辣味都冇,真係完全叫錯左~~~~

(3) 豆豉鯪魚炒油墨菜
最後呢一個餸又係個人喜好,想食好耐但唔係好多地方都有得食.
點知佢都係令到我有少少既失望,成個餸都好夠鑊氣,但係成個餸係超鹹...
食到最後,直頭連菜都係苦到鹹既,失望.........

總括黎講,三個餸入面除左蒸肉餅係好食之外,其他兩個都係麻麻,如果下次有機會都係要叫返o的招牌餸會好o的........另外就係呢度食完飯會好口渴,應該係用左好多味精~~~

有些食店,即使就在你家門口,也有可能從來不會有衝動去幫襯。對我而言,民聲冰室就是這樣的一個例子。住在大坑十多年,由民聲冰室只賣茶餐ABC,到轉營專攻家常小菜,及後報紙雜誌大力褒獎,我都未有幫襯過。反而搬遠了,才會醒起這一家老字號,要專程回來嚐嚐,這可算是「隔離飯香」嗎?周未晚上和大爺為晚餐苦惱時,忽然靈光一閃醒起我倆都未吃過這家大家都讚好的餐廳,於是立即驅車前往。七時許,冰室已經連露天雅座都坐無虛席,幸好晚上的天氣不算太熱~ 店員遞上一塊勁大的膠板餐牌,非常搞笑!我們點了咸蛋蒸肉餅和羔蟹蒸水蛋,腸飢轆轆的期待著。十分鐘左右,出現在我們面前的,並不能用肉餅來形容,應該叫做「咸蛋蒸肉山」才貼切!馬上用羹掏一大口肉放進口中,很滿足的感覺呢!肉餅非常鬆化,單吃也不會覺得太咸,很有媽媽做的菜的感覺!唯一要挑剔的是肉餅內的肥肉太多,可是減少肥肉又可能會犠牲肉餅的鬆化度…那唯有我稍微犠牲一下自己,吸收一下膽固醇吧!再來羔蟹蒸水蛋,羔蟹不是太大隻,但也充滿著鮮甜的蟹羔,配上滑溜的水蛋,送飯一流!而且水蛋可能下少了口去稀釋,感覺比一般街外的蒸水蛋挺身及有蛋香,頓時因為這街坊小店的落足料而加分~ 不過太多

因為睇完陳奕迅個音樂特輯話佢開演唱會前一定食民聲, 所以我都冒名0黎試0下. 0黎過幾次, d0野食味道全部都唔錯, 記得第一次最impress by 佢0個雞扒飯...雞扒超大隻, 啖啖肉, 個汁好0野味. 不過飽餐一輪之後就0黎料…間直勁口渴! d味精超多! 我食完第一次都唔信邪, 但係食完第二第三次都係0甘…我以後都怕怕喇, 雖然間唔中都幾懷念0的.仲有就係間舖細...食得都幾有壓迫感, 但無法啦...

要到附近辦點事,期間抽了些時間,到這裡吃了有名的鹹蛋蒸肉餅....還未到十二時,時間尚早,但已有一兩枱客在進餐了用手指數一數,這兒的位置只能擺四至五檯而已。若果到了午飯的黃金時候,要找位可是十分的困難呢....肉餅並沒有堆得如想像般的高。看到那放在"肉堆"頂的鹹蛋黃,唾涎欲滴,馬上用羹掏了一口肉放進口中。"鬆化"、"鮮甜","豐腴",短短這三個形容詞加起來,就等於這一口肉餅了此時一啖肉再加上一口飯,不羨仙矣...頂頭的鹹蛋黃質感不死實,吃得一口甘香若果可以多一些黃油漏出來的話,更是完美....不過現在吃到的,已經是上上之選,不可以再挑剔太多了.....

今日黎到民聲冰室試試,點佐個鹹魚蒸肉餅,蒜蓉通菜,帶子蒸豆腐.鹹魚蒸肉餅真系唔錯.好香.不過有少少咸,送飯佳選....帶子蒸豆腐都唔錯啊,,帶子嘅鮮味帶出來.豆腐滑到入口即溶嘅感覺~

星期五,天氣逐漸變得明朗,太座與madam於銅鑼灣shopping。madam月前閱讀有關「民聲」嘅拙評,希望可以親身一試,於是一行三人,踏上往大坑嘅征途。月前嘅初體驗,筆者還歷歷在目。「日落西山」之景,印象難望。由於時值炎夏,筆者要求到店內就坐,在服務員稍作安排之下,不需等多久便能入席。餐牌還是老樣子,一大塊橙色膠板上寫滿了各種菜式,總數大約廿來款。三個人,四樣餸,其中兩樣係之前食過想再回味。當然在漸入盛夏之時,冰凍飲品唔少得,一支啤酒、檸七是必需的。鹹蛋蒸肉餅 ($45) – 此處肉餅有兩大特色,其一係高,其二係滑。肉餅高身,筆者猜想可能與控制蒸肉餅嘅火力有關,但實際上與一般扁平肉餅有何優勝之處,是否受熱更均勻,抑或較容易熟等,思前想後,也得不出所以焉。可以肯定的是肥肉比例比一般多,水份充足,故才會有肉質嫩滑嘅效果。「肉山」上嘅鹹蛋黃亦不能錯過,入口除了有鹹蛋黃嘅鹹香之外,蛋黃亦不是蒸得死實,軟綿綿的十分討好。可惜始終非健康食品,經太座「強烈」勸籲後,只食了一半便放棄了;口水雞 ($56) – 於本地食雞,筆者永遠唔會講雞味,因為有雞味嘅雞「幾希」矣。但求雞肉嫩滑已經心滿意足了。口

口水雞 ($56) – 於本地食雞,筆者永遠唔會講雞味,因為有雞味嘅雞「幾希」矣。但求雞肉嫩滑已經心滿意足了。口水雞嘅質素冇令筆者失望,雞肉嫩滑有彈性。味道方面,則稍欠口水雞應有嘅層次感。只能食得出甜味,辣味甚微,更枉論「辣中帶香、香中帶麻」嘅境界。不過以雞嘅本質來說已相當不俗;

帶子蒸豆腐 ($45) – 上一次光顧時,豆腐蒸得比較老咗啲,入口唔係咁滑。今次情況改善了。帶子肉亦保持鮮甜爽脆,配以豆豉、香蔥、蒜蓉等調味料,令本來味道單調嘅豆腐變得豐富起來;

豆豉鯪魚油麥菜 ($48?) – 鯪魚非碎上,而是整條放在油麥菜上,好似菜還菜、魚還魚,各自為政。不過,油麥菜冇想像中咁「油光滿面」,入口亦爽甜;

在小本經營,但客似雲來嘅小店作客,服務員跟單有甩漏在所難免,空間亦不求充足。以「服務」、「環境」嘅低評分來總體評定對此店之好惡,只可說是瞎子摸象。

加三大碗白飯,共銀二百五十蚊,平均每人八十三蚊。不足一百蚊嘅價錢,可以食得到比一般花百幾二百蚊嘅餐廳更好味嘅食物,是抵食之選

given a very short menu on a board upon arrival with about 20 items on it. ordered:

1. steamed pork cake with salted egg ($45): ordered this judging from its popularity by looking around. a mountain of steamed ground pork came shortly. the meat has a light and fresh taste and it wasn't overly salty at all - great with white rice. however i must make a note of how fatty the meat was - it was DEFINITELY not lean pork! while i understand that a bit of fat is needed to give it a smoother, richer and moister taste, it was a bit over the top.

2. thai-style spare ribs ($48): the only "thai" about this is the spoonful of (obviously bottled) sweet chili sauce it was topped with!!! otherwise it is just like any "pepper salt ribs" in cantonese restaurants - deep-fried and with white pepper salt seasoning. ribs are quite surprisingly meaty.

3. stir-fried "tong choi" in belachan sauce: belachan is the ubiquitous sauce used in stir-fries commonly found in vietnamese/thai/malay restaurants. a lot of "wok hay" in this dish!
vegetables managed to have a slight crunch to it, not overcooked! lots of cloved garlic and dried shrimps too! ho!


4. spring rolls "gold thread rolls"($39): new menu item wor. the mixture in the filling is quite delicate! chopped vegetables, steamed vermicelli, small shrimps, seasoned and deep fried in a paper-thin skin that gave an airy crispiness! it was served with mayo as dipping sauce but it remain untouched.

5. white rice, 2 bowls: medium-grain jasmine rice of usual texture - not too watery/sticky nor firm.

the bill came to $28x for 3 people, plus we all ordered drinks - good value for money!

good food, but this eatery is a bit overrated. and be prepared - individual plates, bowls and napkins are not served. seating is very uncomfortable and about 4/5 of the dining area is outdoor.

看食評的題目也知,又在摩頓台附近找吃的,今天到了大坑,吃一個家常便飯。和女友來到了門口,冰室的主色是橙色,無論是其外牆,以至員工的制服,也是同樣的鮮橙,形象鮮明,好像是非一般的冰室,一於吃過才說,企了一會兒,店員幫我們行了一張枱後,也快快坐下看餐牌,原來是有小菜跟飯的午餐,每天兩款,今天剛好有一心來吃的蒸肉餅,而另外的是蒸鯇魚,也完全是我杯茶,所以也不用多想,各點一個,然後和女友分吃就是了,另外女友再加了一杯熱奶茶,也好,正好試試其水吧的出品。先來的是奶茶,也喝了數口無加糖的,才給女友加糖喝,因為個人認為,此飲法更能嚐到奶茶的茶味及茶跟奶混合的味道,而今天喝的也不錯,奶跟茶味也平衡,不分勝負,但個人較喜歡更濃茶味的。可能是套餐的關係,也不用等多久,就有得吃了,先談談那蒸鯇魚,鯇魚白如雪,肉身有層次質感,不是梅腍腍的貨色,是否跟就近有檔魚檔的關係呢?真的是很新鮮的鯇魚,而且蒸得火侯剛好,魚肉不會太實,而且伴上很足量的梅菜、蔥花、蔥段及薑絲,再洒上傳統的蒸魚生抽,是很平民而很好吃的味道,一口梅菜,一口吸了生抽的蔥段及薑絲,再一口魚肉及一口白飯,也是好好的享受。再來的是期待以久的鹹蛋蒸豬肉餅

再來的是期待以久的鹹蛋蒸豬肉餅,鹹蛋黃如日落西山的太陽,很是美麗,從中段切開一看,是軟身流沙而多黃油的靚貨,而金字塔狀的肉餅,使在有限的碟中,不用壓得那些豬肉太實,始終豬肉餅是要鬆軟的才好吃,要不然,那些肉汁也迫得出不來了,加上此處能大膽的用上咁多肥肉來做豬肉餅,真的不是人人也能接受到,但對我而言,就是美炒至極的了,所以用來下飯,也是瞬間清碟,而豬肉的油脂在口中,竟還能在口中遊蕩良久,所以至今仍是好生懷念。

不用一百元的一個小菜午餐,份量足,味道好,吃得很是滿足,這是鹹魚白菜也好好味的寫照,民聲冰室,一定是會翻兜的餐廳。
