A critically acclaimed and world famous Japanese restaurant chain, Nobu has dozens of locations worldwide. Unlike other Nobu restaurants which only serve lunch and dinner, Nobu Hong Kong embraces Hong Kong’s dualistic nature, offering an afternoon tea set menu during the weekend. The menu features a series of umami and sweet dishes that reflect the fusion of traditional Japanese dishes with Peruvian ingredients that Nobu is recognized for. The ‘Fizzy’ T-Set features a foie gras ganache bao, unagi kombucha jelly, green tea azuki bean roll and strawberry sakura and blueberry macarons. Each bite is scrumptious and delicious, packed with flavor and texture. Food aside, Nobu also carries a fine green tea section and creatively crafted matcha drinks like Yogu Berry, Matcha Cappuccino and Matcha Colada. The combination of Japanese and Peruvian flavors is typically unheard of in afternoon tea sets, so be sure to try the Nobu “T-Set” for a memorable experience.

Served on a large porcelain plate, the afternoon tea set at ATUM Restaurant looks like a piece of large artwork. Rather than have a tiered tea set, each item is individually plated on a large platter in perfect rows and columns, alternating between savory and sweet. The savory food includes a foie gras terrine, tuna tartare, parma ham with goat cheese, and beetroot salmon. The desserts, on the other hand, include beetroot candy, a chocolate marquise with meringue, and macarons. Located in the K11 Art mall, ATUM Restaurant is a Western European restaurant with a creative and beautiful afternoon tea set that is not to be missed. This restaurant is perfect for those who seek innovation and modern style in their tea set.

An elegant and classy cafe, Princess Cafe is a cozy restaurant that serves contemporary French cuisine while incorporating Italian and Asian flavors. As the name suggests, the cafe is decorated in light pastel and gold colors with floral adornments and lace embroideries. There are three afternoon tea sets available - the Diamond Gold Set, Carousel Set and Jewelry Box Set. Each tea set comes with at least six pieces of sweet pastries and six pieces of savory items that change regularly. Not only are these sets packed with flavor but they also are displayed beautifully. The carousel set comes in a tiered display that turns, mimicking that of a carousel. The Jewelry Box set comes in an adorable pink bag with two pink boxes holding the food. For guests strolling through Causeway Bay and want a place to wind down, try Princess Cafe for a relaxing afternoon.

Visit the Clipper Lounge at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Central to enjoy a traditional English-style afternoon tea. Available every day, the Clipper Lounge afternoon tea set will not disappoint those wanting a classic dining experience. The tea set is simple yet sophisticated, serving a variety of sandwiches, dessert and scones. The sandwiches include egg salad with chives, cucumber sandwich and a Scottish smoked salmon and dill cream cheese sandwich. For dessert, the Clipper Lounge displays a wide range of unique fruit desserts, ranging from guava mousse cake to coconut lemongrass mousse cake. A highlight of the meal at Clipper Lounge is the traditional plain and raisin scones - buttery and crumbly, they can be paired with devon clotted cream or tangy rose petal jam for a scrumptious bite. To elevate their dining experience, add a glass of champagne or rosé.
