Have heard so much about it from friends. Finally got a chance to try it tonight.
We wanted to try the little steamed dumplings that are served with the soup. We have heard they only serve them on Sat/Sun/public holidays and that's why we went tonight. Unfortunately, they are only serving them for lunch. We will have to try them next time.
Having said that, we enjoyed every single bit of our dinner!
We arrived at 18:30 on a Sunday evening, thinking that we were early. There was already a big crowd of customers waiting outside with numbered tickets, waiting to be called in.
We were given the menu and a tickbox order sheet and were seated half an hour later. I think other customers arriving later will probably need to wait for in excess of 45 min to 1 hour!

We had the normal steamed dumplings, the crab meat dumplings and the Veg dumplings as my friend is a big fan of dumplings. Personally I found all of them to be of very high standard
We had the double-boiled chicken soup with noodles which was absolutely fantastic!
We also ordered some fried veg with garlic and veg/pork dumplings in soup which was good
The hot soya milk have got to be one of the best one I have ever tasted in my life. Full of yellow bean flavour, and yet not to sweet.

All the stuff were very polite, helpful and efficient; from the massive team of 8 girls manning the reception, to the 4 waiters/waitresses serving the food to our table, and last but not least the staff looking after the lavatories.

The bill came to a total of $350 HK. We thought it was very reasonable for 2 people having a nice dinner in Tsim Sa Tsiu.
I am not sure whether they serve alcoholic drinks or not as we don't normal have them with Chinese food personally. I think I remember seeing on the menu that they charge $200 for corkage and $100 for cutting birthday cake. Better double check with them if you are thinking of doing either/both.

We would definitely come again ourselves and would higly recommend it to anyone who enjoy Chinese/ Shanghai food. (The owner is actually from Taiwan and not Shanhai!!)
We will be travelling to Taiwan next week and will definitely want to try the head branch in Taipei!
PS They have recently been given a Michelin Star!!

香港的第一次
以前聽呢個名,人家只會話「好貴」;幾年前有幸有內地分店試過,感覺深刻。
既然香港係第一次試,當然要上嚟睇下大家推介啦... 唔可以訂位、要等位、齊人入座才不限用餐時間.... 大家嘅提醒令我哋有啲擔心,因為大家放工時間唔一致,有人住得遠怕等得嚟食完太夜.. 幸好去到仲入有人潮,所以我哋入去時仲可以被安排到卡位,坐得好舒服,真好!因為要等齊人關係,我哋邊叫小食邊等~
至於叫餐方面,睇大家推介蟹粉小籠包,呢個係我至愛小店,皮薄餡鮮,真係同外面食好唔同,呢個係我哋唯一ENCORE再叫的美食;仲叫咗大家推介嘅排骨蛋炒飯,(呢個都好好味),
另外仲叫咗湯同菜!!
店內服務員由我哋入去到走都好有禮貌咁為我哋服務,响香港食店來講已經少見...
今次雖然人唔算多,我哋都唔係試太多,希望下次多啲人時可以試到更多好味的美食~

1)上海燻魚-$48 lee個燻魚賣成48蚊,仲要用D唔新鮮嘅喊欄貨,唔好以為燻到條魚黑晒就食唔出先得架!!
2)紹興醉雞-$68 lee個餸冇乜特別,一般平價上海鋪都係咁嘅味!!
3)干煸四季豆-$28 上海婆婆好食D!!
4)小籠包(6隻)-$48 lee個就真係差勁,需然皮簿多汁,但係D肉''梅''嘅,又細粒!!
5)菜肉蒸餃(6隻)-$45 lee個又係冇乜特別,一般平價上海鋪都係咁嘅味!!
6)鮮肉包-$15 lee個比較清淡,可以話係冇味,同龍門大包比差+班!!
7)麒麟啤-$28 周圍都一樣味!!
8)排骨蛋炒飯-$55 lee個就炒得最好,每粒飯都晶瑩剔透,排骨又香又多汁,成晚最好食都係得lee個囉!!!!!!!

等得就等, 等唔到就唔好等o既小籠包
之前都知道冇得訂枱, 於是決心早d去搵位
1835左右去到基本上門口係有人等緊位
我好擔心啦, 跟住就走去拎飛--->8位
個reception問d朋友快唔快到, 因為未齊人入座用餐只係得1.5hrs
oh~~~ 基本上平日每個朋友收工o既時間都唔同, 冇8點都好難會齊人
於是我話等嗌飛先入座...............
最終都係等唔齊人, 但我已經等左成個鐘lu, 於是就照入去食住等, 當然都係得1.5hrs用餐啦~
:chopstick四吉考夫, 我第一次食咋, 原來好好味嫁.............好似d齋咁yummy
其實咁出名既鋪頭每個食客都有好大期望, 佢上菜係上得好快, d野食都好新鮮, 可惜o既係份量太少, 而且偏貴, 但overall服務唔錯, 係要你等得耐先有啖食o者..........所以大家如果想一班人去食就真係要齊哂人啊~

十分好的服務員
今日再去,食物質數比之前好.但服務就真是大大進步.
尤其是幾位講國語的服務生,真是太好禮貌了,
可以說是我在香港光顧過最好招呼的食館.
食物方面,相對便沒那麼突出,當然也算不錯.
推荐食品:小籠包,炸豬排麵

香港終於有一間服務好o既餐廳
不過也難怪,去過台灣食就好難覺得香港會好食過台灣
但係由於太耐無出門,近近地都要試下~
晚上8點3左右去到,結果等到9點先入到去~
一入去就聽到多國語言同埋類似歡迎光臨o既招呼語

兩個人開頭點o左3樣o野
牛肉麵:牛肉好淋,但係個麵不濟,58個大洋無下次~
紅油抄手(菜肉):紅油我唔知點先算好/不好,但係雲吞係好食o既,應該同小籠飽個皮一樣,38個大洋6隻好合理~
蟹粉小籠包:68個大洋6隻,真係好難同台灣價錢相比,台灣o既味道太耐無食真係唔記得,但係若然無食過台灣o既我覺得單係呢度已經好高水準,要係香港搵到拍得住o既都唔容易,正!
真係唔飽,前後再後加o左兩次蟹粉小籠飽先離去
走o既時候仍然要讚佢地o既態度,好多句謝謝光臨拜拜等,好窩心^3^

服務方面,唔知係咪侍應落場未到齊,無上次咁好,上次就座時就有人幫你入埋單,三分鐘就有得食,但係今次交了比侍應之後佢唔知幾時又放低咗係我地枱面,我地見隔離枱遲來先開餐先知道漏左單.呢件事發生後服務就殷勤了幾倍,好多人嚟跟進,算係將功補過喇!

鼎泰豐....o係台灣食過一次....非常之咁好味~所以香港有....決定再試!
多人等唔係問題...因為台灣o個間都係好多人...而且好o野一定多人食...所以完全接受~
但係難以接受既係....等位既安排非常混亂.....
叫到我地....我地行埋去俾飛....當時我地未齊人....佢話未齊人要限時

一定會再去!
蟹粉小籠包--正!係我食過最有蟹味;最鮮嘅蟹粉小籠包,豬肉及又香又多汁。不過一定要熱食,否則會好腥。
擔擔麵--花生(湯汁)恰到好處,不太淡;不太濃。因為我唔鍾意食出面果d,大多都好淡、好膩or張住個口。
馬藺頭-草青味令人難受,一定唔會再叫。
水蛟麵-淡淡的,但仲飲到湯嘅鮮味。
千層油糕-唔知想點,只係食左一個唔甜嘅中式飽。
食完去洗手間個阿姐服務超好,勁有heart ,even 佢嘅工作地方只喺洗手間,值得一讚!
下次都仲會去,食埋個芝麻容or荔芋飽。

頂唔順超捧的服務
台灣鼎泰豐最出名係咩??小籠包??nono。芝麻包??nono。燉雞湯??nono。係著高叉裙既PR姐姐,不過係香港就算啦,食野吧。雖然香港既服務員係相貌比較平庸,但係服務真係好到得人驚,每位服務員有親切既笑容,服務呢一環真係要俾滿分佢。我地去到拎張飛等兩三個字就有位啦,等既時間仲已經睇埋餐牌,寫定食咩,一坐低就即刻落單,流水式操作。我地點了醉雞($68) ,小籠包($48),同燉雞湯伴面($58)。
等左無幾耐野食就差唔多到齊,真係好高效率,我地一路坐服務員一直幫我地加茶,仲要好有禮貌,雖然我同女朋友覺得佢服務真係好,不過真係好唔慣,哈哈。醉雞,差唔多每枱都食,食落口ok,酒味很香,如果雞肉嫩一點更美好。小籠包就真係好似天氣咁不似預期,無想像中咁神級,而且要第一時間食曬佢,因為凍得快。食第一粒要"呵"下佢,第二粒可以份兩啖食,第三粒已經可以一口咬左佢,突然間對本店有d失望添。至於燉雞湯面,建議大家都係分開湯同面嚟食啦,佢地唔係好夾,不過湯就真係好飲,但比台灣店失色。
食曬未夠飽所以決定嚟多兩個包啦,當我仲望緊張單,諗下點咩食既時侯,服務員居然主動送上一本menu,反應極快,真係抵讚。我地多點了一個芝麻包($18)同荔芋包($15),因為即蒸所以要多等十五分鐘。好啦,熱騰騰既包到啦,可惜服務員唔小心跌左一個包落地,不過佢都好唔好意思,話即刻做過俾我地,佢咁有禮貌,我地都唔同佢計較啦,等多幾分鐘有得食。兩個包真係拎返唔少味道分呀,兩個包都好軟,芝麻包唔會好甜,好香,好味,荔芋包更加讚,色香味都一流~~口感very good。
走既時候仲可以聽到好多人同你講"謝謝,慢走",haha

星期六日及假期才有供應的小籠湯包
相信是用來教外國人吃小籠包的方法,莫非這是摘星關鍵?
此店相信真的很多香港也曉,就算之前未登陸香港之前,已經是非常聞名,因為其台灣的總店享負盛名,所以在其登陸香港之時,為大家帶來一番飲食熱話,在台灣的總店去過數次,反而香港的分店就沒有光顧過,時至今日,終於有幸一嚐,還要在動筆的時候,剛知道它奪了米芝蓮的一星,真的替它歡喜。
來到出名吃小籠包的鼎泰豐,當然是要吃包包吃飽,所以最後點了蟹粉小籠包、荔芋包及原盅雞湯麵,另外還點了在假日才有得吃的小籠湯包。
先來的是蟹粉小籠包,一籠有六隻,一口咬下,真的是很熱騰騰呢,而且蟹粉也算下得慷慨,吃起來算有挺好的蟹粉味,但是蟹粉較粗較雜,味道不夠集中,而肉餡不死實,有點豬肉香,加上皮夠薄,頂尖部份厚得非常得宜,只是最頂的部份較尖,讓大家夾得方便,是最正宗的吃法,但用來配套的黑醋不夠香,既然貴為一星店,也值得用好一點的醋來襯其招牌菜吧。
小籠湯包在星期六日及假期才有供應,此包子一籠有十二隻,但體積比小籠包小得多,跟來一小碗蛋花肉湯,肉湯喝起來不像雞湯,較像用火腿來煲的高湯,加入蛋花及蔥花,濃濃的味道,配上也是濃味的小籠湯包吃,很是不錯,小籠湯包的濃是因為它的湯汁有大量的麻油,相信是其肉餡本身用上大量的麻油醃過,蒸過後麻油被溶在湯汁中,所以連蛋花湯吃下一枚小籠湯包,咬破其薄薄的皮後,麻油味即時湧出來化在高湯中,吃得一口也是味濃的感覺,肉包少少的,但肉餡仍是質感不鬆不硬,所以就是一個接一個的吃,根本沒有停下來。
之後再來一個麵食,原盅雞湯麵端來的時候,果然是一小盅雞湯及一個灼過再過了冷河的麵,而主角當然是那原盅雞湯,打開蓋子,是一盅很清澈的清雞湯,雖然表面有數個小小的油泡,但真的不太煞風景,喝一口雞湯,很清鮮而很有肉香,店家用上非雪藏雞、及加入一片薑、大蔥來熬的雞湯,味道是清甜而不濁,用來伴麵吃當然是一流,麵身也如在台灣吃到的家常麵,口感方面當然沒有廣東麵這麼有咬口,但軟腍得來又有點彈性,最後唯一可以彈的,就是那些雞肉如湯渣,吃起來一點肉香也沒有,而且很是嚡口,但也挺難怪的。
最後又是吃包,用上一個荔芋包做甜點作結,蒸籠一打開,大量的蒸氣冒出,真的很熱騰騰,我常說這已經是嬴了一半,加上此包包身鬆軟好吃,在內的芋蓉餡挺多,芋蓉很香而夠滑,真的很是好吃。
最後值得一提的是此店的服務非常之好,隨了人手夠,每位店員非常勤快有禮,連清潔洗手間的嬸嬸見到人客,也會打聲招呼,這可能也是其奪星的關鍵吧。
埋單二百三十元,午市來說吃包可以說是偏順貴,但念在服務好味道也很不錯,而且更是星店,這個價錢又真的說是值得,個人覺得此店比台灣永康街的總店更好。
