Went here on a recommendation from a foodie friend, needed a special occasion restaurant to take my mum to on her birthday. I'm so glad I listened - the restaurant itself is elegant and not too flashy or noisy on a Friday night, but still had a nice buzz. The food was beautiful - we went for the chefs tasting menu ($888) and the dishes were superb. From the housemade sourdough bread to start with the best butter I think I've ever had (it's all about the details here) to the Dover Sole which was just perfect, to Chef Daniel's famous millefeuille (I will be coming back purely for this), we could not find fault.
