Recently I discovered this hidden jewel in quiet area of Sai Kung. I had very enjoyable lunch with my husband. Something what was planned as just quick “grab and go” sort of thing turned into unexpected romantic lunch and unique vacation feel. I loved everything: top quality of ingredients, unique combination of flavours and complicated recipes of sandwiches, best quality coffee especially one with grated Norwegian cheese on the top, very neat and nicely decorated table by the window, flowers, nice chat with owners, quiet atmosphere, the way how we were welcomed. It was true surprise when routine and tiring “husband-wife” grumpy weekend shopping suddenly turned into exclusive almost romantic type of dining. We forgot about all our previous shopping dramas and left this place in good mood, rested, inspired and happy! This little neighbourhood between Millennium square and Western Market is a capital of independent coffee shops. Each one is unique. I am lucky to keep my office in this area, so Incan enjoy variety of coffee breaks. So far I love the taste of coffee at Brewed the most. It’s very rich, but never bitter. Their snack food is also very flavourful and beautifully served. Today I tried home made scone, and that was 5 star hotel quality!! I am lucky to have this coffee shop so close to my work, so I can enjoy hearty petite foods served with aromatic coffee any time between 9 am and 6 pm! …查看更多

First time I tried Nepalese food, and I love this unique combinations of grassy spices they use! I could not even guess what half of the flavours were, but I absolutely love it. On the photo most of dishes look like some version of Indian dishes, but in reality- totally different textures, spices and way less fat . I recommend juicy lamb dumplings with plum sauce to not miss! Also I enjoyed variety of rum based cocktails. Visited this place for afternoon time delights. I am so impressed by this unique concept of pairing dim sum with wines. I looooove the textures and flavours of each dumpling I tried. The wine was fantastic too. Very welcoming interior. I think it’s one of the best destinations for gastronomic tourism in Hong Kong! This place is not for filling your stomach when hungry, but for fulfilling your senses. To me this place was like visiting museum of art, enjoying every work of art slowly and thinking how it’s designed and what’s the story behind every innovative dish. This place is an innovative lab where French cuisine rules meats local ingredients. I love it! Absolutely. We ordered starter of lotus root chips with hummus made of tofu, some very flavourful mushrooms and bunch of other ingredients I can’t even guess. My soup was bisque with grilled shrimp- fantastic!!! And main dish two types of goose meet prepared different way. I liked wine too. Interior is very cozy with paintings on the wall, colonial style entrance glass door and wonderful trees right outside! My husband and I visited this restaurant on Dec 30th. It’s located in nice brand new hotel by the sea promenade. This restaurant is an interesting fusion of Western and Asian cuisine. You can find such interesting recipes as Tom Yum risotto or lobster and seafood pizza. This place serves Korean style fluffy pancakes personally I like very much. I think it’s absolutely the jewel of Tseung Kwan O. The restaurant is located right on the sea front, although on more quiet area of promenade. I love their spacious, embracing, outdoor terrace chairs and fantastic view on Po Toi island. The food is very nicely prepared and presented. Our choice was grilled lobster and sides of mushed potatoes, smoky broccoli and wild mushroom mix. It may be a bit rich on the butter- so, check your food restrictions before visiting. I was happy to squeeze my late time lunch into the busy booking schedule of this famous restaurant. Me and my husband were just driving by and decided that this is the day. We ordered 2 lunch sets. I got dim sum set which included pickles, 2 choices of fried dim sum, 1 choice of steamed dim sum, meat broth soup, main dish by choice, fried rice and desert soup. I think the name of the restaurant matches the quality of ingredients and cooking perfectly. Noting seems too much or too little: every combination of textures, temperature and spices was just perfect! Very enjoyable dining experience with awesome view. I ordered set lunch which included sushi selection, miso soup, beef udon, tempura and coffee. Everything was very fresh,flavourful, and served very beautifully. Beautiful interior, quiet atmosphere and spacious seating is another treat for a couple of introverts. …查看更多
