Looked around to treat family post valentine's day.. We should have seen the warning signs: few diners. Ordered four dishes: (1) risotto; (2) focaccia sandwich; (3) steak and Burger lunch sets.. The soup of the day was carroty soup but it tasted like warm evaporated milk with a light orange colour.. The ice lemon tea was scooped up with a ladel (I saw it) and the lemons squeezed.. Made me think the lemon were reused.. The risotto dish was ok (passable). The focaccia sandwich was ok.. The sirloin steak was so below standard we suggest you eat at café De coral or YLK if you really want one.. last is the beef burger - it was only better looking than a McDonald quarter pounder but the McDonald tastes better. We went there with excited anticipation as it is in the Fashion Street in Causeway Bay. Immediately upon being seated we already started to suspect things were not as advertised. The advertising presented it as semi-buffet. This is an abuse of the term semi-buffetrinks: We were offered warm water, coffee, lime. The coffee was definitely watered. The lime and lime and plum juice were salty to the taste.Appetizer: salad (ice berg lettice, corn, tomatoes, pineapple chunks straight from can and choice of mayonaise or thousand island dressing). This is supposed to be a restaurant. My wife and daughter make better preparation at home. Main course: I ordered a sweet and sour fish, my wife and son ordered lemon grass pork, my daughter ordered sushi in rice with vinegar. She said she thinks it was two small slices of sushi diced to make it look a lot more than was on it.Dessert: two types of tasteless jello cubes (kanom Thai). I didn't even dare to try it.The advertising definitely is misleading. This restaurant should be penalized for mis-advertising. At $110 I might as went have eaten at Burger King. Ordered 4 set lunches. Overall impression is that the food quantity is small but sufficient. The fillet fish taste is slightly bland but not distasteful. The carbonara rice bowl was a bit better in terms of taste and quantity. The fried rice with eel was the most expensive. The salad appetizer is actually nice even though its quite small. Family of four ordered grilled chicken burger and grilled fish fillet burger. The service was good. venue was a little dark. The burger buns were a little oily as were the crinkle fries (actually too little and quite oily). This is my first burger where the tomato slice was cooked making it soggy. The mayo (dressing) was not bad - not fantastic. The rest of the green vege looked very fresh (a welcome change from what most buger joints serve - old and soggy burger).…查看更多

A sign that no one likes the place... four empty tables. For HK$35, you get a large cup with about 1/5 of sour chocolate yogurt. The staff counts how many pieces of fruit she puts in the toppings. The yogurt is icy - an indication that it is not quality. I think customers are really just paying for the location (which is inside Miramar Shopping Mall). Would I recommend GBU? I'd say 'hell yes stay away' unless you are craving for just any burger and have money to burn. It's a few notches better than Wendys but definitely a little lower than another burger joint – Monster Burger or Triple O. I'd say GBU is comparable to another gourmet burger joint – Shake 'Em Buns (SEB). If you pit the two together, I'd give SEB a better rating than GBU only because the location is better plus they are very creative with the names of their burgers – although to be honest the names may be fantastic, for example 'Debbie Does Dallas', but the actual burgers leave much to be desired. …查看更多
