在2016年2月20日的一個下午,我走進了蘇豪這個龍爭虎鬥之地,到Craftsteak食飯。Grilled Caesar Candied Bacon, Parmesan:西方煙肉配上中式的處理手法,煙肉的鹹香味和叉燒醬的味道沒有顯得格格不合,配合十分特別,另外煙肉原舊送上,比平日吃到一片片的口感大有不同。綜合來說是十分新穎的菜式,或者會形容這為美國版的叉燒吧,值得一試。Grilled Salmon 6oz Béarnaise, Roasted Corn:三文魚皮煎成金黃色,賣相吸引,肉質亦嫩滑,外脆內軟,青檸汁已足夠為整道菜調味了,六安士的份量令人感到幸福和滿足。蛋黃醬配粟米的味道亦相當不錯,為此餐補充足夠的碳水。Caremlized Lemon Tart Maple Walnut Gelato:這個甜品值得推介,檸檬批外層鬆脆,酸度適中不過火,雪糕是很好的配搭,能中和檸檬批的酸性,很好吃。服務不錯,待應都十分友善又會勤力添水。…查看更多
It took me less than a minute to get in. The only reason why people waited long is that they have way too many people, and they want to sit together. Tip: If you have more than 4 people, splitting into multiple tables would be wise.While you are waiting, you should be thinking what you want to eat so you can order right away once you are seated. The waiters will come asking for your order even 15 seconds so being able to order right away would prevent unnesscary trouble. But actually there isn't much to think about - the all-day set is your best call, and the only thing you need to choose is spaghetti/macaroni, your eggs (which should just always be scrambled eggs), and your drinks (which should just always be hot milk tea). I was able to order while I'm walking to my seat, and the waiter was definitely impressed. Macaroni with roasted pork: macaroni was cooked to soft, yet far from gooey. This texture was perfect for macaroni. The soup was a standard mediocre creamy chicken soup. The roasted pork was tender and delicious in a traditional way, by which I mean I grew up eating this kind of roasted pork (not the new-fangled roasted pork that most fancy restaurants are selling nowadays). Bread, ham, scrambled eggs: The scrambled eggs is one of the best eggs I have ever had. It was cooked just right and well-seasoned. The softness was beyond description. It added an additional texture and taste when you eat it along with the bread and ham. Hot milk tea: Again one of the best. Smooth combo of rich milk and aromatic red tea, is a must-try. 甫進大廳,oh so spectacular。首先登場的是醋漬茄仔配海藻沙冰,冰涼清新,微酸的茄仔令人胃口大開。法國安素蓮生蠔配自家製醬汁:肥美的蠔仔口感豐腴,海水味道濃郁。但個人喜歡原汁原味,極其量加兩點檸汁,惟蠔仔送上時已被加油加醋,未能由食客自行選擇。慢煮法國布列塔尼龍蝦配胡蘿蔔,柚子及檸檬橄欖油:法國布列塔尼龍蝦比普通龍蝦更更更有鮮味,肉質更彈牙飽滿,慢煮令龍蝦的鮮味鎖緊,沒有半點流失,亦能保持其特有口感。菜上桌後身旁友人(我的朋友不是我)急不及待起動,誰不知吃了大半口後,侍者才徐徐地把即場準備的醬汁淋上,雖然對這道菜來說,醬汁真的是可有可無,但真係醜死怪了。香煎鯛魚配芹菜,柚子及海苔蘑菇清湯:經一事蔡一智,上菜後大家都靜心等待侍者把蘑菇清湯灌上,灌湯的同時會有數條蘑菇從茶壺內跌出,擁有一顆童心的眾人都覺得此安排實在是神來之筆,令人拍案叫絕,嘖嘖稱奇,惟有少數人覺得跌出來的蘑菇數量不一的安排不公平,大吵大鬧。蘑菇清湯香氣四溢,眾人係咁索,彷彿無諗住食,味道甘香甜潤,蘑菇的口感彈牙,猶如在口中起舞,實在出色,震撼人心,與此同時,如此脫俗的佳餚,有著寧神的效用,令剛才吵鬧的數人都靜靜地享用美食。芹菜如何?忘了。法式鵝肝餛飩配椰菜:一道中西合壁的菜式,鵝肝是意料之內的嫩滑,豐膄油脂味齒頰留香,餛飩皮薄輕滑,令整道菜的口感更上一層樓。水煮有機雞蛋配煙燻蔬菜及里昂香腸:蛋白嫩滑非常,其他都沒有特別。(有機雞蛋聽上來很高級,但其實其營養價值跟普通雞蛋無異,別被騙了。)慢煮法國白鴿配紅菜頭,粉紅果仁,薯蓉及酸果汁:慢煮方法沒有破壞肉質,鎖住鮮味,令這道菜十分惹味,回味無窮,眾人們埋頭進食,這數隻白鴿繼蘑菇清湯後為這頓飯帶來了片刻的寧靜,惟份量不多,點到即止,大家都有一種意猶未盡的感覺,餐廳亦貼心地準備了檸檬水作洗手用途,故大家能夠盡情放開徒手吃!甜品沒有特別,對本人來說可有可無,有興趣的可看其他人的食評,我好大方的,我唔會介意的。…查看更多
Via Tokyo一直銳意創新,沒有因為長久不退的人龍而停步不前,屢屢推出各種茶味雪糕及甜品,相信是各位抹茶達人的最喜愛三甲。玉露玄米茶雪糕 Gyokuro Senmai Cup ($37):最近推出的新口味,外觀較抹茶的綠淺色一度,淡淡的綠色不用多加修飾。玉露(Gyokuro)是吸收較少陽光的新茶茶苗,低溫才不會破壞它的茶香與甘甜,而且含有大量的兒茶素,無論飲用或者作甜品都比普通抹茶更上乘。玄米茶(Senmai-cha)中烘炒過的米味明顯而不霸道,不會搶去玉露的幽香醇厚 ,甜度一如以往的剛剛好,吃畢欲罷不能,希望不是期間限定吧。店員擠花的技術純熟,從任何角度看都很美。來一個鳥瞰圖欣賞一下吧。雪糕質地幼滑之餘仍然挺身,在冬天吃雪糕特別享受,從店子步行到百德新街後才輕微感覺到雪糕被手的溫度熔化後更軟滑、更甜和更有奶味。如果吃過同店焙茶或奶茶味雪糕的朋友不喜歡過於甜或強烈的味道,追求平衝而多重層次的茶味,可以放心試試此新品,不會令你失望。這個價錢可以買到一碟燒味飯,奈何甜品就特別能吸引愛吃之人,不理會價錢也要嗜新嚐鮮!…查看更多
