I don't know what you other reviewers are smoking, but these are AWFUL cupcakes. I can bet you that $24.90 of the $25 they charge for each cupcake goes to the rent, because these cupcakes are nowhere near anywhere acceptable, let alone good.The RED VELVET, for crying shame, does not taste like red velvet. It's just chocolate, with none of the richness and moistness that makes red velvet what it is. The flavour falls flat, so does the thick layer of average-tasting cream which doesn't even taste like cream cheese. If a cupcake shop can't even get red velvet right, it's plain simple - it is not a good cupcake shop.The BAILEY'S CHOCOLATE is just chocolate. Plain, boring, dry, mealy chocolate. The frosting was so bad, a slathering of something slimy, that I couldn't eat it. And Bailey's? What Bailey's? It certainly was no where to be found in the cupcake.Just in case people start saying things like 'this is Hong Kong, not the States, what do you expect from cupcakes here', or 'you spoiled biatch, how dare you!', I just want to say that they ARE absolute standards when it comes to cupcakes. I don't care if you're a baker in Hong Kong, in London, in New York, in Prague, wherever you are, a cupcakes needs to have FLAVOUR, which is where Kisses fails at miserably. The texture of the cupcake should be spongy, when you bite into it, there should be some bounce if there is enough moisture. Kisses, biting into your cupcakes is like biting into metaphorical concrete, they are so dry. The frosting is also important to the cupcake, it should be light and contribute to the overall palate.
