The perfect place for celebration 🥳 I was blown away by how stunning their dome shaped ceiling was. Their interior was predominantly a dark forest green which was soothing to look at and just had that elegant vibe. Food looked beautiful and their chestnut soup with foie gras and monkfish wrapped in prosciutto definitely left an impression. 🥢天龍軒 Tin Lung Heen .I was so excited for their dim sums! Two Michelin Stars 🌟🌟 dimsum definitely hits different. .My personal favourite was the 花蚌場粉(steamed rice roll with sea cucumber meat), so incredibly sweet and fresh!.Second favourite was the 雪影焗叉燒包 (baked bbq pork bun), the top was so crispy and there was so much filling!.Third would be the 芋茸角 (fried taro dumpling) which was super flaky and with seafood instead of the usual pork..The ikura crab dumpling was also incredible! Just look at those crystal clear ikuras!😍.We also got the abalone tart, what had a giant piece of abalone that was incredibly tender, though I must say the tart base has room for improvements. The shrimp dumpling were super plump but the 大地魚 flavour was a bit overwhelming. The groupa dumpling (星斑燒賣) was a little disappointing as it alsmot felt like your average 鯪魚球🥲.We had their premium Char Siu as well which were very tender but the top edges were strangely soft. Throwback to quality Chinese food by 凱悅軒 (The Chinese Restaurant) at Hyatt Regency TST! NEW PUNJAB CLUB 🇮🇳 .Finally visiting this Michelin One Star 🌟 Indian restaurant🥳 We went for their plated menu at HKD 628 pp, which included a variety of proteins, curry and dessert. .Favourite was definitely the pigeon breast, it was incredibly tender and flavourful! The black Angus ribeye was a close second, just look at that perfect cook! Third place goes to the crab tart served in the beginning, so sweet and refreshing!😍.The red lentils curry along with their signature butter naan wqs very satisfying and by then we were already very full 🤣 We were thankful that the dessert was something small and refreshing. Tosca di Angelo 🍝.Finally visited this upscale Michelin One Starred 🌟 restaurant overlooking the Victoria harbour 😍 .Food was absolutely incredible. I have never had pork so tender that it felt straight up like premium wagyu beef! The Sicilian red shrimps were so sweet, it was out of this world! The red grouper was tender with a delicious tomato soup. I also loved the very distinctive flavour of the Busiate with white fish belly, though it might not be for everyone.. The most unimpressive item was their beef carpaccio, the portion was small and the flavour profile was very simple. BOUILLON . ⭐️Favourites:🦆 Duck leg, apple confit, shitake mushroom .🥩 Beef tartare - great texture! .🥩Beef cheek, Brussels sprouts, red wine, shallots - super tender and loved the sauce! .🥩Wagyu beef croquettes - The croquettes were mostly tender braised beef with no potatoes, I definitely like this better than your usual croquette. .💭Thoughts: They are quite a small restaurant so the seats were quite packed. It could also be quite noisy if you are seated on the elevated level which has a low ceiling. 🍾Restaurant week dinner menu HKD 498 pp💭Thoughts: Considering the ambience, the view, the service and the food, it was definitely a bargain! Highly recommend for celebrations/romantic dinners😍.🥩Beef Carpaccio - The beef was of great quality and had a really strong beef flavour despite being raw, loved the overall combination with Parmesan cheese, rocket salad, apples an Parmesan cheese! 10 out of 10😍.🥩Beef tenderloin - The texture was incredible! So tender and succulent and cooked to a perfect medium rare!! Another 10 out of 10😍 I wasn’t a fan of the artichoke on the side, though it might just be a matter of personal preference 🙈.🍧Japanese white peach Melba w/ vanilla ice cream, raspberry coulis - A refreshing dessert to wrap up the meal! .🍰Tahitian Mille Feuille w/ caramel sea salt butter - I went with a more decadent dessert option and absolutely loved it! Great value for money too! 👍🏻.⭐️Favourites:🐟金牌酸菜桂花魚 Poached fish fillet with pickled mustard green - the fish fillet were delicious!! Dinner with the BEST VIEW! 🌃.🍷Restaurant week - Dinner menu HKD 488 pp.💭Thoughts: They nailed the starters and pastas! The tiramisu was huge so do save space for its grand arrival at the very end! The mains on the other hand were mediocre at best, could use more seasoning and a shorter cooking time. .The waiter also poured the cream sauce on the fish as he was introducing the dish which totally caught us by surprise and the skin was no longer crispy when we dug in 🥲 He was very nice tho, introduced each dish in detail and held up a light for each of our photo! .🐚 Scallops crudo - The fresh sweetness of the scallops paired beautifully with the tartness of the mandarin peels 😍 .🐙 Grilled octopus salad - The octopus slices were tender and paired well with the overall salad and crispy bacon 🥓 bits, I wished there were at least 4 slices instead of 2 tho 🙈.🍖 Saffron and Italian sausage risotto - For the first time, I actually don’t feel like I am eating undercooked rice 🍙🤣 The risotto was also surprisingly flavourful and the Italian sausage bits were the perfect seasoning!😍.🍄 Pappardelle with porcini and thyme - They nailed the sauce which hung well to the pappardelle! 😍.🍨 Tiramisu - Two huge trays of tiramisu and I was absolutely thrilled! Trying the latest seafood 🦞 specials by PICI.🍝 Tagliolini ai Cannolicchi - the French razor clams were super fresh and bouncy, loved the white wine sauce with just the right touch of cheese and freshness from seafood! .🦞 Ravioli lobster (+HKD 98) - was hoping for more lobster meat and less cream in the filling, the sauce was also a tad too overpowering 🙈.🐚 Mussels Cocotte (+ HKD 20) - the mussels were a decent size and I loved the marinara 🍅 sauce! .🍝 Beef Pappardelle - a long-time favourite😍 It was extra saucy this time so we were thrilled! .🍨 Tiramisu - still my fav tiramisu in HK!! OZAKAYA 🎏.⭐️Favourites:🍞 Uni toast 🐟 Black cod saikyo yaki .💭Thoughts: The uni toast and black cod were perfection! The rump steak was a little disappointing, it was quite tough and didn’t have enough flavour. The portion size of everything was also quite small. It would make more sense for the mains to come with a side of rice 🍚 . EXP ⛸️.One of my childhood favourites growing up. We used to come here after ice skating lessons and I loved watching what goes on in the rink, from the amateurs to the graceful figure skaters and the motions of the ice resurfacer, I found them all fascinating..They had a different name once and I am so glad they have once again embraced their old name, EXP, with a menu pretty much the same as the food old days. I couldn’t believe my old favourite item was still on the menu, and of course I had to get it! It was none other than the “Grapefruit, mango, prawn cold soba”! Believe it or not but even the flavours were the exact same as before!🤣 Brought back so many memories! The Baker & The Bottleman.Their upstair seating are was surprisingly cozy and I was very impressed by their sandwiches! Loved both the 🥪 Egg cress and Mayo sandwich and 🥪 Ham and cheese toastie! We ordered half of each to try both flavours, the portion was pretty big and their 🍞 Rosemary bread was definitely the highlight!! .As for sweets, we got the 🍩Raspberry and cream doughnut.
