OMG Kitchen was not previewed with not the most attractive post and photos. But to my surprise, the food was way surprise then I expect. The day when I finish my meeting around Kwun Tong area, someone distribute the flyers to me about Valentine’s Day between the industrial areas. I always know there is Restaurants around Industrial Area often times, yet this one surprise to me do not have a fancy door or advertisement. The food was cook by heart by the restaurant owner. 7:30 pm I walk in the restaurant with a friend for a chat, the menu was 2 pages. Food options are comparatively more than a lot of cafe. Most of the people eat Burger. 7:30 pm there are 2 packed tables with around 4 persons each table. I sit into the inner corner of the restaurant with wooden table. I ordered a Risotto and my friend ordered another Risotto as well. There is a choice of Pasta, Burger, Risotto and Salad. Paella – Spanish Rice ($53) is the choice that pops into my mind. We waited for around 10 mins for the food to arrive. The outlook and plate are also placed with sophistication. The size is fairly small than normal food place but the ingredients are filling. Paella is served with high temperature consists of white rice, red beans, chicken, seafood, seasoning such us rosemary and saffron. There is a shrimp on the top that let myself remember well. Rice with Spicy Chicken ($54) is the 2nd dish we ordered. The Spicy Chicken and Rice immerse in detail together and is hot enough. We are given a small plate and spoon to eat with the Risotto. The seasoning is placed with detail and cook with hot temperature revealed the sophistication of the food cook with heart.Iced – Tea ($22) is served with small size.9:00 pm we ordered a dessert. Waffle is served with 2 balls of ice-cream (Strawberry & Chocolate). The Waffle and Ice-Cream ($35) does not taste like it is from Diary Farm ice-cream or ordinary. They served with their own brand of Ice-Cream and Waffle. The Minisize let me wish to return back for the next time.The restaurant is well served. The owner of the restaurant cook and serve all together and thank him for the valuable experience. Next time, I would try for the Burger which the restaurant is famous of as well. I would recommend more ladies wish for quiet place and medium portion to come to this restaurant.…查看更多

The One and K11 has turned to shops with artistic style for dessert and lifestyle store!This Tuesday, I have arrived 宏 Hiroshi to have dinner and attractive Green Tea dessert.When I arrived, the waitress nicely guide us to 4 persons table. The day was not packed with people so the waiting time was reasonable. I first open the menu booklet full of dishes (with images and descriptions) The curry dish with tempura shrimp is good in size. Curry sauce with Tempura Shrimp in rice. Curry juicy is spicy and cool ! The combination is good taste !I ordered a cup of wild, brown sugar and milk, green tea, green tea ice cream sesame panna cotta. Tiramisu Matcha, Matcha red bean banana waffles, Dorayaki is sweet, green tea flavor are strong. Matcha red bean banana waffle with two green tea flavor chocolate Matcha. Matcha red bean waffles Xindi Japanese red beans ( do not know whether Tokachi red beans ) authentic taste entry bean and loose with the Japanese standard is definitely more than adequate enough green tea ice cream. 22 April  2016 Hong Kong has unstable weather recently. Rainy seasons had a feeling to rush in door. Most restaurants are empty and in particular Burger Room in Causeway was full packed.As I was walking around Causeway Bay, I am anticipating of choosing a special restaurant in this Alfresco Lane. Burger Room in particular is packed with people with festival atmosphere.This restaurant is a quick service serving high end American food. This Friday, I am excited in choosing a place with comfort food and drinks in welcoming my best guy college friend, Lorenz, who shall visit HK from Singapore.The pool of friends are all very updated in going to hotels , F&B cuisine around the town. We anticipate this korean store, MoMoJien at QRE. I was surprisedhow <The Avenue> has I reserved table of 7 in welcoming my best guy college friend who shall visit HK from Singapore - another paradise of Hospitality Industry.Whenever I compare a gust of Korean windy, I am always amazed by the many new dessert places that have sprung up in 2015. There are always novel dessert gimmicks and ideas, from the crazy variety of ice creams like nitrogen ice cream, Korean soft serves, ice cream toast boxes, to more bizarre desserts like super sized candy floss, sizzling brownies on a pan,Egg Roll Ice-Cream and shaved ice served in test tubes, the dessert culture here moves as fast as the fashion industry. Except that desserts never go out of style😉MoMo Jien. is a small, adorable and trendy restaurant that aims for mostly younger and international customers; the interior is designed to mimic plain and spacious area. For 7 persons, we are placed to "High Tables" at the back of the restaurant. The MenuThe list of “small” menu items, we were recommended their signature Kalbi Hotteok ($82), a hand-ground beef short-rib ball wrapped in a thin, pan-fried rice-flour bun. It was crispy on the outside but the meat was juicy and flavorful, and the horseradish-based sauce added the perfect bite. Sea urchin bibimbap ($160) was served on a plate and there really wasn’t enough of it to mix across all of the rice. We do not have enough.We have ordered around 10 different dishes ranging from meat, salad, vegetables, fried chicken, PaJeong, Sea Urchin Rice. We had the seafood and perilla seed noodles ($130) which were great: The homemade noodles held the thick sauce well with plenty of shrimp, clams and calamari to go around. In ordering Korean Wine, we are so satisfied in what is ordered to let us enjoy our way fully with surprise taste every time. The rainy & moisted day after Yellow Rainstorm signal, I was so tired after 4 meetings in Hong Kong Island. The day when I have to source cooking utensils around Shanghai Street and Portland Street. I wish to have a hot bowl of noodles and soup.To my surprise I found the name of the restaurant interesting " 村爺爺" in Yau Ma Tei,this street is more ghetto with people sitting around but the door attracted with the title that traditional chinese soup is available. When I entered in the restaurant, I can image it is opened by a family and individual owner. The place was not expected for high end service but traditional home and comfort food. I was greeted with high manners with a guy with glasses, I am guessing his sincerity would be the owner of the restaurant. He is passionate and energetic of what he does. I go through the menu and found out photos on the wall with customers visiting the restaurant.There are around 100 seats at this area, tables are not too packed and 80% of the table are filled. Mainly with couples and “ladies friend” around the area needed a good place for a chat.The guy server prepared the Supreme Lobster Seafood Soup - 極上龍蝦海鮮湯和泡飯或面. I was also offered drinks, Passion Fruit, Mango Juice. The drink is a Portuguese brand, COMPAL, I was surprised to have such drink in a local store in Yau Ma Tei.The soup bas is deep and it was healthier than what I image. The soup base is having seafood fresh taste and not too strong in using herbs. The whole head of Lobster is served, clams and cuttle fish are in the soup base. Most Lobster soup is in western style using canned lobster bisque. We are introducing Chinese Lobster Soup prepared a period of time.The size is good for 1 persons with good taste of soup. The rice are soft enough.My appetite is attracted to the soup. immediately decided to use it for a luxury scallop stew meal !The menu is diversified enough from signature dish lobster with soup , stew. Healthier, finger food and 3-choice meat base noodles to enjoy afternoon tea and dinner. Most important is to appreciate the traditional cooking style, “Soup”. The cooking area is shown open space. The night at 7:30pm, there are not a lot of people eating for dinner but we left a room for our company's celebration by a referral of a friend. 7:45 pm We started ordering the soup base and food (large variety). 3 Soup Base are not available that left me to order "Winter Vegetable Chicken "pot , adding fresh chicken meat dish made ​​pickles & sauce.  The base of the soup are all cooked for a long time, the taste is strong. 1 persons hotpot is a very exciting experience. The heat is hot enough to cook quickly. There good and refreshing taste: US beef , cattle sheep sheet flavor ...... not even a smell of mutton D , chewy scallop/Tasty enough to eat that night everyone was very fun , style foot, variety, price and popularity, quality can be better!Service:The service was the most local and basic ones. Do not expect service here, but only to refill hot soup. There are 6 types of soup base to choose, 3 of them are not available. The soup comes late. FoodThere are humongous plate of Golden Roasted Pig with Fried Rice and 2 kg of Hotpot Food.The food quality are not very well, the soup base is strong. But the quantity of food are very economical. chewThe restaurant offers 84 different ingredients to choose from consisting of different meats, fish and seafood - both fresh and frozen, staple foods including potatoes, noodles, or rice, vegetables, and other foods such as tofu, bean curd skin, all kinds of balls such as fish, cheese, shrimp, not to forget pastes such as shrimp or octopus to intensify the taste. The choice is vast and everyone can find what they like.We ordered the Son , beef balls , cuttlefish slip , beef , pork, frog , crab , mussels sun and the moon , abdominal fillets, American oyster bucket , cattle Boye , cheese sausage, bean sprouts , lettuce , mushrooms , corn , pumpkin , melon slices , lotus root slices , hot pot material is indeed fresh , sweet meat , meatballs elastic mouth , melon slices , slice of fresh yam , cattle Boye is also not drift too Taibai kind , it is refreshing, fresh yam slices , pumpkin cut thickness also easy rinse, not too thin , too long to rinse melted , however soup unacceptable. This restaurant give kind reminder about the smell of your clothes can be washed and bags are stored under the seats. In addition to apron, the service was superb that staff offer you a plastic bag for your mobile phone to avoid smell and grease.  The spacial dining area, simply but classic deco with Japanese culture. The menu has a large collection of beef/wagyu set for the Japanese style BBQ and fresh item. Everything was really good and what was nice as well was that the staff helped us cooked everything so we didn't have to worry about overcooking them.Beef Waygu and Tongue and excellent! It matched with lemon sauce and salt well. 牛 was very tender and tasty with homemade BBQ sauce.We ended with high customer service and enjoy private chats.This restaurant revealed the importance of being "Domestic". Regardless of supermarket milk , meat , vegetables , as long as the domestic standard , equivalent to the peace of mind of United States , Australia. Food imports would affect domestic sales The meat came from black cattle of domestic tie ranch .The cooking method is was broken charcoal fire grill , using soluble rock , after eating pork , clothes will not smell barbecue , and meat is not easy to focus, it tasted delicious compare it !Recommended thick cut salted tongue Tongue is one of my favorite ingredientsThick-cut several times the thickness of the thick tongue general , Ruannen super good bite but yet chewy, delicious.The meat has a proportion of fat , this established a chewing feeling with juicy, fresh sweet juice mixed gravy. Piccolo Pizzeria & Bar served traditional authentic Italian Pizza and Pasta. To my surprise, the group opened up the 3rd Piccolo within 3 years at Kau Yu Fong (Central). It is always packed on Friday night, therefore I made a reservation this time to dine with a good business friend. I met James, Chef for La Port Perfume next door, who smiled & recognised me. I enjoyed looking at the Brick-Stone Grill in making fresh Pizza. We cannot wait to enjoy our Friday Dinner at Piccolo.This restaurant's unique-ness is the interior design of the walls filled with Venetian & Italian postcards. I wonder what are the stories behind the decorations of the wine bottles and postcards? The area is much casual sitting around the Bar Area or Sofa seats on the 2nd floor. I greeted my friend, Mr. Law, to the quiet sitting area facing green bottles of decorated lights. We ordered through menu average $120 /pizza. The ambience was strong yet there is a lunch menu which values for money. 2 of us ordered, 1 pizza, 1 pasta and to our surprise an offer of dessert. Every of the main course are cooked immediately.The restaurant is best to visit without rushing for meetings. The environment is very romantic and small groups for chitchats with good friends & family.When bitting the pizza, the crusted dough with smoked taste plus cheese, tomato and some herbs as based of pizza mixed it to a traditional taste.
