Was here for dinner today. Placed our orders at 8:25pm. First came the “rice paper roll” after 15mins which came with just veggies and shrimps inside without mango as said in the description on the menu. Only 1 appetiser and 1 young coconut was served up until 9:15pm. I was rather looking forward to their new drink called Ginger Snow, with all my favourite ingredients: almond milk, ginger, mochi and self added chestnut paste. I expected the chestnut paste to be underneath the drink like most bubble tea drinks places would do , but mother pearl mixed the chestnut place directly into the drink causing it to become extremely thick like drinking a Chinese dessert 栗子糊。Not to mention there was no ginger taste at all. Ordered the 口水雞 rice set for lunch. Presentation was good but taste was just so so. Not the authentic 口水雞 sauce you would find in other restaurants. The sauce was thick and translucent. The chicken texture was a bit rubbery though still chew-able. One of the chicken piece was pure fat which one wouldnt swallow. They serve the chicken on top of bean sprouts which is weird as no one would eat the sprouts with the oil absorbed. The pumpkin soup was unexpectedly good however. …查看更多
