Strawberry Neapolitan - disappointed! Yes The presentation was good, yes the puff pastry was crispy, but that's it. Puff pastry was tasteless, where is the butter? :( Vietnam fried noodle $78 waited more than 15 mins even though there were only 4 ppl in the restaurant. Noodle was so greasy and you can taste the "old" oil that has been used to fried the dish. There was no meat or anything for that matter except noodles and a few pieces of carrots and cabbage! Anyone could have cooked that in 3 mins.Stir fried beek - too much sauce which when cold got lumpy and disgusting.Soup noddles - so much MSG and only few pieces of chicken and sprouts.Fried vegetable- salt was not added evenly so it was either really salty or tasteless.Deep fried soft shell crab- again salty in some pieces and not others.…查看更多

We arrived and were told to wait outside for a table,after a few seconds the waiter signaled for us to follow him in, so we did. However he turned around and told us sturdily to wait outside!!!He then gave us a bar table despite us making a reservation atleast 3 weeks in advance.We asked for a normal take and he refused saying there are not available even though we saw 2 or 3 empty tables !Food took a while and no one really cared when our food didn't arrive even though we chased.Food quality was satisfactory.…查看更多

I had noodles with pork and cattlefish ball which is supposed to be their famous dish, it was the most disgusting noodles I have ever tasted!They put so much MSG in the soup even the noddles was drenched in it. We had 半窩水蟹粥mop135蝦子撈面 mop 45The congee tasted so good though there was no taste of the crab, basically it was just full of MSG (we were thirsty before we even left the restaurant). The crabs was so tiny and they were smashed so much that lots of the shell was in the congee which made it very hard to eat.The noddles portion was very small. tasted average only.It was far too expensive for what you get, the congee should have been MOP30 not 135!Won't recommend this to anyone!While we were eating, we also heard other customers complaining about the price and the taste.:(…查看更多

We choose the set lunch.Starter - mushroom soup. Tasted fine with plenty of chopped up mushroom. Main course - Cod fish fillet with white wine sauce served on a bed of mash potato and vegetables. Firstly, the size of the plate was very big so compared to the tiny fillet of the fish, the fish looked rather humble. The fish tasted really bland, the sauce did not taste like white wine sauce but some ordinary white sauce. I also tried my friend's turkey dish (there were 3 pieces of turkey with the size of a $5 coin!). The turkey was wrapped in a piece of bacon, too dry but tasted better than the fish.When we asked the waiter for the list of desserts, he merely mumbled something i could not understand. it's only after having asked 3 times that i managed to figure out 'meringue and bread & butter pudding'. I asked him what the meringue was served with, he said nothing, i said are you sure, then he said it's served with cherry sauce...The meringue was actually served with chestnut moose and cranberry sauce...The bread & butter pudding was very average, though i could hardly give it a proper tasting since it was ridiculously small.overall, i won't recommend this to anybody. :)There’s an executive lunch menu, about $250 for 2 courses pp.There’s also a la carte menu with daily special.I had the roast duckling ($170) with roast apple which came with a potato and some red cabbage.The duckling was gorgeous, just cooked, juicy and tender.Red cabbage was not too soggy and had just enough sauce (not too sour as some restaurant makes it).For dessert I had the sticky date pudding ($6x), that was a disappointment, it’s too dried and didn’t have that stickiness to it. I also tried the apple crumble, again it was a disappointment, the crumble was too tough and too sweet. :)Very good selection for lunch, there’re choices of steak, lamb chop, fish, pasta, Japanese style noodles, salads. The set lunch includes starter (soup or salad), main course, dessert (only a simple small one) and a drink. About $90-120. The lunch menu seems to change every month too.The service is really good. Although sometime the kitchen can be very slow in preparing the food, even though the restaurant is not very big. So it’s definitely not the place to go if you’re on a tight time schedule. …查看更多

Sushi only tasted average, may be because the fish weren’t fresh enough. I can’t understand why there’s always such a long queue outside this restaurant as the food quality was disappointing and the price tag is not cheap.The most alarming thing was that I saw a fly towards the end of my meal, it hovered around the raw food (which was not covered). Despite the fact that it lingered there for ages non of the staff seemed to care or thought it’s necessary to cover the food. :( Having read an advert on the magazine we thought we would give it a try.Lunch set:$88 for salad bar + dessert bar $11x for salad, dessert bar + panini$13x for salad, dessert bar + pasta$168 for salad, dessert bar + main course.Salad bar - there's a variety including Parma ham (nice), chick peas, mushroom, green veg all with salad dressing, most of them was too salty.Main course - had the steak which was sooooo chewy, not juicy and didn't taste of much. Also had the grilled calamari, which was again very chewy and didn't taste of much.dessert bar - lemon tart was alright though some thought it's too sour, marble cake was only so so, there's also a selection of fruits.All in all the beef and calamari was extremely disappointing. Last time I visited I had to wait for >1 hour to be served food, by the end of the dinner I was exhausted and still hungry because the intervals between the courses were so long.I gave it another go this time because the quality of the food is good.Timing wise, it had improved greatly, I didn’t have to sit and wait for long to be served food.Overall food quality was good:Salmon (with fish soup) was yummy though they could have included more vegetable (I don’t think any male/female adult with normal appetite would be full by the portion). Seabass, was far too tough, overcooked. I had to ask for another dish instead, though the waiter explained to me that it’s because of the seabass rather than the cooking skill. I happen to disagree with him, I’ve had plenty of seabass in the past and many chiefs had managed to cook it right. :( before i went i'd already tried out the signiture 'Zoe' cake, which i thought was only average.Anyway, went there to give it a proper tasting one evening.Blueberry cheese cake - ordinary, i much prefer starbucks because Zoe's only have blueberry jam rather than fresh blueberry. I've completed forgotten the names of the dishes.... so i'll have to just describe them:Starter - Hummos($30) with some chilli saurce in the middle. Hummos was tasty and the nan bread was average, need to be hotter (it's bearly warm) and they should provide 2 slices rather than just 1, a bit stingy i think.Main dish - grill meat platter ($200): beef, chicken, pork kabarb and a piece of lamb chop. All of them were extremely cooked, terribily dry and doesn't taste of much. I got so tired of chewing the meat that i gave up in the end..... the meat platter came with roasted vegetables and rice (had nuts and rasins), the rice was lovely.Snapper ($150) - the fillet was wrapped in leaves. Fillet like the meat was over cooked, though it's still edible. this dish also came with rice (had cinemmon), again the rice was lovely.Service was extremely good, polite waitress/waiter and very considerate. Choose the Easter Set Dinner $2xx for two which was considered cheap.can chose 1 starter, 2 claim chouder, 2 main courses and 2 chocolate mousse for dessertStarter - Chicken something... can't remember the name, but it's a wrap with chicken, veg and cheese. had that last time i came here, i would recommend it, quite tasty.Maincourse - Lamb chop with herb, the lamb was totally raw you can see chucks of fat, so i asked the waiter to take it back (also i hadn't even finished my soup and they haven't even served up the starter yet!!!) when it came back it was TOO cooked, it's like cardboard and i couldn't taste anything on the lamb, it was completely TASTELESS The solefillet wrapped with bacon - again, pretty tasteless and the bacon was a bit too chewy. the dessert - chocolate mousse, very solid which is completely not what a mousse should be (it should be fluffy and smooth).
