Unexpected visit to this place today during lunch time. Was super busy with the lunch crowd. I am not a big fan of chicken. I only found out that they do chicken broth ramen after I sat down with the menu. Oh well, what can I do? I ordered their signature ramen and absolutely loved it. Went for birthday lunch last month. Good atmosphere and pretty food. But taste-wise to be honest, I think it was average at best. I think if you want to go to a pretty place for instagramable photos, I highly recommend. But if you want to go for tasty yumcha, maybe somewhere else 😂 …查看更多

I think I go to this place for yumcha every week ever since I moved nearby. I think it is good value for money in the neighborhood as I cannot go too far from home with a baby around. My husband took me to this place saying that I would like it. As we were there late Saturday afternoon, it wasn’t crowded so felt relaxed to enjoy the atmosphere and the food. Maybe it was because it was new year’s eve or is it always so crowded? Reached this place around 1:50pm but had to wait an hour to dine-in. Decided to grab a light lunch/snack nearby because I was famished. At the Bakehouse, ordered waffles & mala chicken and avocado salad with 2 drinks. Mala chicken was pretty good but don’t know about salad because I was too full to try it all thanks to my light lunch/snack 😂 Ordered egg tarts and multigrain sour dough bread to go. My friend brought me to this place for lunch a few days ago and I loved it so much that I cannot wait to go back with my husband soon! Hidden inside a building, I don’t think I could have found it on my own (had to call my friend for detailed instructions). All the dishes I had were very tasty and seemed to have generous portions. Was told by my friend that her husband found this place as he was looking for authentic Thai taste that he greatly missed when living in Thailand during his teenage years. In a nice area with a good vibe. Was recommended by a friend saying that it has delicious food with reasonable price. Appetizer and dessert was good but the salmon was too fishy this day. Located inside Lane Crawford in IFC with a great view of the harbor. It was difficult to find, but managed to find it. My friend and I had dimsum lunch set which was $278 per person. I specifically asked if tea was included at the start and was told yes, but at the time of payment we found out it was $50 per person was added to our bill.... The dim sum was fancy and was ok, dumpling soup was ok, rice with mushroom & chicken was average and so was the dessert. After receiving a recommendation for this place, I booked a table for 4 to have a delicious Korean chicken experience in TST.Having a terrible experience of Korean chicken a few months back (in another place), this was a big step for me and something worth looking forward to.When I first walked in, it gave me a good impression of being clean and looking quite new. Also, the servers were bright and enthusiastic to show me to our table.After some wait while chilling with my friends, the first menu was served. I didn't get the name but it was a mild spicy dish with some garlic and nuts inside. I personally thought the sauce itself was nice, but the chicken seemed a bit boney. It would have been better if the chicken had more meat.The second menu was mango salad. It seemed to be one of the best dishes in the house with relatively generous portion. It was a good match with the first dish and the third dish (coming up), making the meal refreshing.The finale was Chir Chir Chibap. It came out on the stone dish (induction style stove on the table, keeping it warm throughout the whole meal) and the server poured fondue cheese making the golden crisp boneless chicken very flavorful. There already were some other sauce beneath the chicken along with mozzarella cheese on the edges. Though I am not a big fan of a lot of cheese, this dish was good and unique. Before finishing the whole dish (maybe having 3-4 pieces of chicken left), the server told us to call for help to mix some rice on the stone dish with the leftover chicken and sauce. Although this is pretty common for teokbokgi and hot pot in Korea, it was my first time seeing it at a chicken place. It was quite good as well.As for the drink, Pong-Dang Real Grapefruit was the bomb! It was absolutely amazing. It was very fruity as the name indicates, and slushy which makes it more tasty. As a result of searching for an authentic Korean bbq place, I found the one. I had to try a few in order to choose the one I would go back to whenever I have the cravings for the Korean bbq.First of all, I liked the menu and the banchans. Since this place is a pork bbq place, I would recommend pork. Also, I like the banchans that come with the menu. The eggs that are cooked while cooking the meat and the refilled veggies (though not entirely authentic to be honest) & kimchi (it would be a lot better if it was less sweet...).Secondly, the place is clean and seems to be well taken care of.Thirdly, service is great. The servers are kind and especially the boss gave us recommendations on what to order/changed our grill frequently so we did not have to ask to exchange them. Moreover, the fact that the servers were Korean gave the vibe of being more authentic.I am going back if I am craving for Korean bbq in the near future.…查看更多
