Didn’t expect a Chinese sour & spicy fish restaurant to be decorated in such a modern and cartoon way! Very nice atmosphere. The spacing between tables is great too, not too crowded like a lot of other restaurants.Food is delicious! Price is very reasonable. It’s hard to find a place with such a broad selection: -Japanese bbq, -Rice don (fried pork cutlet, roasted wagyu beef), and -Sushi. We looked at a few and decided to come here. Can’t believe this place is so close to us. Hidden gem! I know where to go to in future when my boyfriend goes to Phoenix haha..The interior design is European. I wouldn’t say it’s exquisite but it definitely won’t disappoint even if you are bringing friends visiting from Europe. Also, Peninsula lounge has horrible design - this one is much better.The food is greeeeaaaat! I was particularly impressed by the scone (served with both butter cream and jam! We came here without much expectations. But it turned out really really good! The food is great. No just Japanese. Best fried chicken. The design was modern. The balcony was small and cosy. The food was quite delicious. The decor was exceptional. Very spacious, which is rare in HK.However, without inquiring our preference, the HK local waitress made the decision to serve the dim sum first (and she got the wrong order, so we spent 10-min extra waiting for the right dim sum), subsequently the main courses. We waited 15-min for the main courses after finishing our dim sum. The entire meal took 1.5-2 hours. She also did not serve the soy sauce which should have come with the dim sum, until we asked.She did not smile. Just horrible. With her service I would rather go to Peking Garden or Monogamous, instead of coming back.The other southeast asian waitresses were upbeat and smiley, way more better. We came here for brunch. The burger was great, fully met expectations. But the Salmon Egg Royale was disappointing. The Salmon’s quality wasn’t good, and was not smoked (or not sufficiently). The english muffin was, meh. The service was very poor. The waitors seemed all newly trained - not paying attention to the clients, nor to the bar. At one point we had to go to the bar ourselves to grab the drinks that had been ready but no one was serving. Instead of being ripped off by online dining platform for $20 delivery fee, I tried calling them directly and got free delivery for ordering $200 or above! Got a whole week’s supply.The fruit’s quality is high as usual, fresh and yummy. They have the best carrot juice in HK which doesn’t split into two layers even if I put it into the fridge overnight, so definitely no water added. The waitress even said yes to our request of “somewhere b/t medium and medium well, like 60% cooked”😂The BBQ wings were phenomenal!Thought the rice included in the sets was weird but it ended up very good!
