There were seats available so we decided to give the restaurant a try. I was there with 6 people, so got to try a bit of everything. The set lunch with ribeye seemed popular (lots of people around us eating it) so two of us gave that a go. It wasn't bad for the price. Surprised that the soup we ordered did not come with bread. We were told that set menus didn't come with bread, but since half of us ordered non-sets, we thought we're fine... until all out food arrived and we were THEN told that no bread was given at all unless we paid for it. Ok... so we ordered garlic bread. It was so-so. If you're going to make us pay for our bread, you better make it worth it!Several other confusions went by with the waiters. We asked to have a couple of our dishes taken back (bad ingredients), which they didn't charge for. The scollops were over cooked, and by then we just wanted to leave. More confusion with the bill as we asked for Asia Miles. As much as the food was above average, and the waiters did try, I won't recommend the place. Too much work for too little return.…查看更多

Unbelievably bad service from the outset to the point that we left without eating. Firstly we arrived a little before their dinning area opened, so we asked if we could book a nice table, if available. No, they won't take our booking. So, we sat by the bar to order a cocktail, but found the selection limiting as it was all sweat drinks. I'm a martini man, but no such drink on their list. My watch said 6:30, their opening time, so I started to walk towards the restaurant but was abruptly stopped and told we must wait 1 more minute. Ugh...ok! When we were finally allowed in, being first in the non existent line I was surprised there were already a few tables taken, so I don't know why it was so imperative that we waited that extra minute. When we looked through the menu we asked for recommendations, and were told to eat what was recommended on the menu. Not knowing what to go for we decided on their set menu except there was one dish that had a potatoe style on the side we didn't like, so we asked if we could change it. We were told "No", we could not! I asked them to ask the chef if there could be a change, anything really...just not this style of potatoes. The waiter came back in a couple of minutes to say that the chef will not cook it any other way...which says to me that this "set menu" must have been pre-cooked. At that point we left.…查看更多

Arrived in a bad mood, so was unfairly short with the waiter. They were going to put us on a bad table so I turned to walk away, but they immediately offered us a much better table with the understanding that we need to hand it back in an hour and a half. Fine. From then onwards the night got better and better. As we ordered the waiter warned us that it might be too much food, so we a dish off. Very rare to find that sort of honest service nowadays! The food they suggested was extremely delicious, albeit the curry chicken had way too much bones. But the highlight to us was the great al fresco ambience. The restaurant is on a quite laneway, so very few cars pass by. So long as the weather is good, it's totally worth giving it a go. We will certainly go back.…查看更多
