Quite a large restaurant, with plenty of seating, and ok lighting. Lots of menu lists all over the walls, which would be helpful if only i could read Chinese. And no English menu available. Have previously eaten a hi tea here of french toast in was fairly standard. On my second visit i manage to order my goto favorite Fried beef flat noodle, which also was fairly standard and it feed me. I also managed to order another favorite of mine... another common hk restaurant specialty drink fruit punch with my meal.And it arrived in good time with my meal, sadly at first taste I instantly noticed something very wrong. Now i've had a 1000 fruit punches in the past all over HK and they are always the same, sweet and yummy with the odd difference might be a pineapple punch which is just as yummy.. Basically they are made of ice, caned fruit, a fruit punch syrup and a lemonade/soda. So simple. Sadly the Orion served me ice, with can fruit and tape water. 
After arguing with my waitress for several minutes, trying to explain this is not how to make a fruit punch, a more senior waitress come over and explained that "they run out of syrup several months ago..... and this is how they do it now "
I thanked her for the explanation and at least they then offered to exchange it for a coke. But i would have much preferred to be to they were out of stock at the beginning and save me some grief. So what would be a OK restaurant i'm having to give it a VERY POOR, as I still don't understand how something so common they can get so wrong and try to pass it off as normal. I wont be returning, as I can't image what other items of there meals they would run out off and replace with other substandard ingredients.…查看更多
