I seldom write reviews on OpenRice, and I don’t like to take photos of my food. Me and my husband regularly come here for dinner. No corkage fee, comfortable environment, good service and good food. 5 courses dinner for $550 included two starters, Foie Gras, soup, main course and dessert. As usual, we order each kind of Foie Gras, smoke and pad fried. Both are supurb!! Smoke one is smooth with very smokey taste. Pan fried one was crispy outside soft inside! We enjoy every mouthful of Foie Gras!!! Today we had fish soup, husband had lamb rack I had suckling pig for main. Both were nice, meat were tender and coo perfectly! Nougat Glacé is their signature dessert!! Every time we have this one, and this time I chose papaya crumble. First time t have it, crumble is made of a layer of flour and butter, and almond flakes, with a scoop of ice cream, delicious!! Owner, Chef Mr Ha gave us duck fat to take home! 不要給它外表騙了你We choose this restaurant is all because of the settings. Service : When I first arrive, no staff came although they saw me arrive. I have to ask them for a table. Sat on the table for few mins and no one gave me anything! I needed to ask for menu, asked two times for wine (3 rounds were the same). They forgot our order and didn't apologise. Hot dishes (beef stew, chicken waterzooi, and mateballs) arrived with no serving spoon. 4 small PCs of Chicken, like a size of little fingers. Meat balls 4pcs, they are broken not a full size ball. Has few more PCs of beef but they are small like dice! Ordered coffee after dinner, when it arrived the cup had no handle, no saucer no tea spoon, no milk came wit it. Then we asked the waiter and he was rude and replied " Belgian style!". After coffee he gave us our bill, which we did not ask. Since it suddenly rain and we wanted to stay for another drink. He said we are closed not allow us to stay. My friend said if other people leaving we leave. He wasn't happy and throw us temper, while he is walking away he pushed the chairs very hard. Food: Tuscan platter - ok. No melon on ours but we saw others have melonSpicy shrimps avocado sandi, nice but not worth it.Chicken waterzooi - 4 finger size of meat in cream sauce, few cold potato chips and 2 slices of bread on the side $168???
