The place is really spacious and clean and has an overall good atmosphere. The staff are friendly and the food is amazing. My girlfriend took me here on my birthday knowing that I really like Sichuan/Chongqing hot pot and it was exactly the flavour that I wanted. The flavour was very good and you could still taste the mala flavour even though it was very spicy. We also had the pork bone soup which was nice to when wanting to take a break from the spicy soup. One of the only things I didn't like was how some of the portions such as beef balls were quite small (4 beef balls for around $30) and some of the things were still frozen (the beef which was around $120 for around 4 pieces) when it was served. I would also say that the employees take your order very quickly and then are nowhere to be seen afterwards, so it's hard to order more drinks and food after you've done your initial order.…查看更多

We went to this restaurant after wanting to try it a while ago, but we decided to walk out last time because they said last order was 9:30pm and then said around 9:10pm that only a few dishes were available. This time we arrived around 9pm and they told us the same thing that last orders were to be made before 9:30pm and then they came over to the table 3 times and kept staring at us to pressurise us into ordering, despite me and my girlfriend waiting for our friend to join us. When the food arrived it was very bland and the 3 of us ordered different dishes and neither of us were satisfied with the bland taste and overly cooked and dry rice on the baked dishes and Pepper Lunch style rice. I have been coming to this restaurant for sometime now and the owners are extremely friendly, can communicate well in English and can also remember my order even if I haven't been for several months. My personal favourite is the wontons and beef brisket with flat noodles in a beef soup and a dash of the mala and chilli sauce which is provided on each table. The mala and chilli sauce complements the noodles well and I have also bought their sauce on several occasions and used it to make various dishes and used it as a side sauce for hot pot too.
