COULD BE BETTER:- Arrogant French Somelier, didn't give a ---- about the young couple that we were, not a single word, not a single look or smile.= preferred being the slave of 3 old English travelers that will probably not be here next year= didn't understand that we would be regular clients ...GOOD:- Everything was just perfect from the first sip to the last crumb !- The food was incredible, amazing, exquisite, creative !!!- We had the tasting menu, here below the highlights:= Joel Robuchon's caviar served in its original metallic tin, and of course a pearly spoon :)= The roasted pigeon, perfectly cooked, which melts in you mouth ... GREAT != An amazing recombination of wasabi amulsion and sea urchin, exquisite != the final dessert : sugar crust with filled with an emulsion of apple aroma foam ... BAD:- Just the worst service ever !!! ...very disappointing !!!Going there since 2009, in 2011 the management changed for the new team but ... it's EVEN WORSE :'(= always get served the order of the neighbor's table= always get sushis that were never even ordered= always get informed 20 min after order that some items are out of stock= staff quite annoyed each time you ask for something= staff never understands what is going on, never understands the first time what you want ... even when speaking Cantonese to them !!! = final bill can include items that you never had on the table- tables and cutleries are not always properly cleaned - always the same menu since 2 years at least, need some fresh ideas.GOOD:- The quality of the food is good.- Sashimis are fresh and of good quality.- The fried cheese croquettes with pumpkin are REALLY GOOD :)- The seared sushis of salmon and scallops are also to be recommended, it literally melts in your mouth !!! :)TO SUM UP:- Good food but terrible service !!!…查看更多

COULD BE BETTER:- I was actually expecting a bit more regarding desserts knowing that Pierre Gagnaire started his career as a Pastry chef.- What they call "Pierre Gagnaire's grand dessert" is actually a mix of jelly and molecular desserts, which was very good, but we were expecting a mix of revisited French pastries.GOOD:- Everything was perfect, we started with a Ruinart Champagne as aperitif and continued with the tasting menu.- Being seasonal, most of the winter menu was about seafood, from seabass, to oyster and prawns.- The cheese dish was amazing, an alliance of French cheeses and processed fruit such as Pear ice cream with Roquefort ... COULD BE BETTER:- Except that Yuen Long is a bit far away from everything ... nothing to say ! I have been to South Korea, and for sure this restaurant is not as good as back in the country but not bad though.COULD BE BETTER:- A bit disappointed on the quality of the Kimchi. Actually some of the starters were not even Kimchi ...- In genuine Korean BBQ's the meat is not even marinated and do not even need to has the quality of the meat there is great.
