Nice place. Good location, lots of space to sit outside, friendly staff, lots of beers to choose from, I like the snacks too. Haven’t had a full meal there yet but from what I saw around me, people looked happy with their nachos or Mexican burgers. Mushy and limp fries. The fries and the burger were almost cold. Way too much ice in the coke, I prefer a smaller coke with less ice.But McDonald is usually a gulp and go place for a very fast meal, yes the food generally sucks but that doesn’t mean it has to suck as bad as McDonald in Portland street right across Langham place. Mostly long queues but it’s worth the wait. So far the best ramen I’ve ever had outside of Japan. The chicken with egg was excellent and I’m definitely going back to try the other stuff on their menu. I’ve eaten more expensive ramen in HK that weren’t half as good as these. Wasn’t really planning on coming here but due to long queues elsewhere, we did. And I’m happy we did. Professional staff, open kitchen, nice. And most important: the food is really good. Served a little differently than other HK Japanese restaurants, not meaning that’s better or worse. I also hardly ever order beef in a Japanese restaurant as most places focus on sushi and sashimi but this time I did and the beef rolls are excellent. Always been a big fan of fried rice so why not try this Korean joint? I did and was pleasantly surprised. The fried rice was excellent and as far as I’m concerned, they can even add more garlic to it. Haven’t been in any coffee place where everything goes so slow. A simple americano took them 20 minutes to make and there wasn’t even a long queue. On top of that, the coffee wasn’t really hot. Starbucks and similar coffee places, I usually avoid if there’s other choices simply because it’s not really good coffee. But this place is even worse. Been sitting here on the terrace for about 20 minutes. Nobody seems to care to take my order. 3 staff members are also sitting outside, playing with their phones.
