Went to this restaurant with an open mind as a carnivore. The decorations and atmosphere of the restaurant is very nice with nice bonsai trees. The crown jewel - the food - however is very mediocore and this is a prime example of trying too hard to be innovative. Breaking the rules is okay, if you know them. But when you got to wait 40 minutes for a drink, you certainly don't manage what I'd call "the basics" or "the rules". The pea drink tasted really like nothing.Had the vegan Bolognese pizza for food and added the vegan cheese for additional HKD 30. The flavor was not bad, but it's definitely not something for the memory books. Also, the crust was super thin (not a good thing) and almost like a cracker. Like those few parts of a normal pizza crust that's way too crispy. Ended it all with the walnut/syrup waffle which was really delicious though. Price is very expensive considering what you get. Portions are small and in general it's feels like this place just tries way too hard to be innovative within the vegetarian genre rather than focusing on good craftsmanship. This place serves some crunchy and super delicious fish and chips. You'll find vinegar at the table, which is a major plus for me! The sauce tartare is a must for fish and chips, and it also has the perfect balance between fatty and acidy. Textbook stuff. …查看更多

Went here for a brunch. Unfortunately, they don't have the francesinha anymore, which I actually went for. Anyway, food was good, especially the octopus which might be the best I've ever had. Bacalhau was a bit too salty, even though I'm aware the recipe calls for salted cod fish. Crab cakes were also a bit too salty. The Reuben sandwich here is just as good and authentic as one you'd find in NYC. Interesting with smoked mozzarella, as I'd say Reuebn is with swiss cheese, but boy, it works! Absolutely the best Reuben sandwiches in Hong Kong. Cubano was decent too, but nowhere near the Reuben. Will come back for sure! Place is tiny, so prepare to que up for the two tables or have a place in mind where you can eat and have your foodgasm in peace.
