Pane e latte is one of the restaurants managed by the Pirata group. My friend and I went there for dinner after spending a day in Stanley for the Christmas market. The experience was so unforgettable we decided to write a review despite the long time that has passed from the dinner night. We had the Christmas menu with Wellington beef. The caprese salad was fresh. Beef Wellington was tender. And we received a complimentary dessert for the celebration of my birthday. The most impressive part was the great service from the staff. I was seated at the sofa so I can see the counter table where they were preparing for an instant camera picture and the complimentary birthday cake with candle. Still, the staff spent so much effort to try to make it a surprise and conceal it from me. I noticed something was going on but didn’t notice it was for me until they approach our table. Not to mention, the picture taken by another staff was really nice.I really appreciate the effort of the staff to try and make this a pleasant experience for both of us.
