I've always wanted to go to this restaurant as my friends always go! Finally I had the chance. It's a bit hidden off in an industrial building but it's very cute and has a warm atmosphere. The restaurant is decorated nicely and the baked goods looked amazing. The daily set menu has a wide range of yummy and healthy options, not to mention is very affordable and good portions. We got the bibimbap and tofu burger and shared. The set also comes with a drink or soup, I got a herbal tea which was made from berries and very sweet and warming! The food came VERY quickly which was nice. Every bite was delicious, the bibimbap had a spicy sauce that mixed well with all the greens and rice. The tofu burger was the best vegan burger I have ever had. The vegan mayo and cheese was amazing and shows you don't need to harm animals to have your favorite foods. I always love finding new places that serve vegan friendly drinks and food. I was sopleased to find Fruitday as all their drinks are dairy free! Not to mention, they don't use any added sugars too. The shop is small but cute and the staff are very friendly. There are also charging stations for your phone or laptop which is a bonus. There were so many amazing smoothie options, but eventually I chose the "blueberry tofu" as I love tofu and was interested in trying it in smoothie form. Surprisingly it was the best smoothie I've ever had. The tofu made it super creamy and the banana made it sweet but not overwhelming. Will definitely be back! …查看更多

Went here with a friend as we love seeking out new vegan/vegetarian restaurants. Ever since going vegan I've been craving a good bowl of pho! So when is saw it on the menu I had to give it a try. The restaurant is in a warehouse kind of building and tucked away, cute small atmosphere and lovely aura. The food came quickly and the service was good too, unfortunately the food was super bland and boring. Easily the worst pho I've ever had, wish there was a tastier broth and the soup wasn't hot but like warm when arrived. Overall because of how cheap the sets are (45-60HKD) I'd come back to try their braised tofu, or cold vermicelli but not for their pho. …查看更多

Went here for an early 18th birthday celebration with my family. Loved the atmosphere with a beautiful Buddhist aura and Chinese decorations. We had a private room which was nice (as we made a reservation). As a vegan, it was nice that I could eat my favourite Hong Kong delights again, such as pineapple buns, Char Siu bao and Siu Mai. Taste was on point but portion wise, everything was WAY too small and over priced which was unfortunate. Had to keep ordering more food and didn't even feel full in the end. Went here for my 18th birthday celebration and was super impressed with the high quality service. The waiters were always patient, kind and well mannered even though the restaurant was busy. As a vegan, I was happy there were options but wish there were less dishes containing eggs and dairy. Nonetheless, I really enjoyed the sushi and sashimi, as well as a tofu dish. The dishes are expensive but worth it. The sushi and sashimi are very high quality and SO REALISTIC. Tastes, looks and feels like real fish but all cruelty free. After climbing a few stairs comes a vegan wonderland, so many amazing healthy choices from Hong Kong favourite a such as dim sum, to sandwiches and burgers, to laksa and red yeast rice! Everything sounded amazing and was affordable. The workers were all very kind and spoke good Cantonese and English. I got the set lunch meal for 50HKD with red yeast rice, papaya and mixed bean soup with a choice of 3 side dishes from a list of 7. I chose braised tofu, seasonal veggies and cauliflower. The portion sizes were good and the food was very flavorful. We also get unlimited refills of rice!! Which I loved and indulged in many extra bowls of the "pink" rice. As a vegan with an omnivorous mother, I searched up restaurants with options for both of us and was excited to visit Mak Mak due to good reviews and photos. I was happy to be greeted by very friendly staff, upbeat music as well as an amazing atmosphere from a beautifully decorated and homely restaurant. Though quite high priced, the dishes looked all well made and the menu was difficult to chose from as there were many scrumptious options. I haven't had Thai food in a long time and my mother said her Pad Thai was very authentic and worth the 122 dollars she paid for it. I decided to order an appetizer which was amazingly portioned and very filling! I got a mixed vegetable spring roll made from rice vermicelli and not only was it plated beautifully but it had so much flavor. The sauces pairing with it added a nice spice as well. I regularly come here because I fly a lot and its the only decently priced dim sum restaurant at the airport. Recently turning vegan, I was surprised to see there were a variety of choices for me, such as vegetables, noodles, vegetable buns and rice rolls. The food, as always, was served quickly and warm, tasted amazing and reminds me why I love dim sum and Hong Kong food. However, I cannot say the same for the service. The waiters have no idea what they are doing and purposely ignore you when you want to order something. They often forget if you ask for something and didn't know what had meat or what didn't when we asked about certain "vegetarian" dishes. Hidden away in a street in Tin Hau lies this local gem, serving amazing Chinese vegan food by friendly owners that really take care of their customers. Though we were lost at first we were surprised that when we called they spoke very good English and came down to fetch us from the gate.At an affordable price of only 55HKD at lunch and 68HKD at dinner, you are open to an array of fresh, cruelty free plant based foods from ginger fried rice to dimsum and vegetables. The buffet is small but filling and the warm atmosphere of the regular customers and family owners makes you fall in love with the place. Great atmosphere with waterfront views and warm servers. The set lunch had good portions for good prices, and since it is a steakhouse I went for a starter of duck breast salad and a main course of beef tenderloin. Service was quick and friendly, they provide fresh bread and the food was high quality. The salad used fresh ingredients that was complimented well by perfectly cooked duck. The beef was also cooked perfectly rare which was great as many restaurants don't cook beed correctly.
