We had reserved a table for three for a friend's birthday celebration because we wanted to eat in a nice atmosphere. But when we arrived, we were put in a table that was in the corridor right next to the host's podium. The arrangement of the tables and chairs made it obvious that it was a makeshift. When we asked if we could switch tables next to the window for a nice view once a table opened up, we were told that in order to have a window table, we needed to book "a month in advance." Excuse me, I didn't know I was eating at the top of the Ritz Carlton, not some wannabe high-end restaurant in a random building in the middle of Mong Kok. Service wasn't great either. We had to ask several times for the food menu and when we asked for the drink menu, they responded that they didn't have enough menus. Sorry, I didn't realize that everyone in the restaurant was ordering drinks all at the same time (eye roll). Drinks were pretty nice but took forever to arrive, after we had already finished our meals. If you're thinking of visiting here, do yourself a favor and eat at Mcdonalds or Cafe de Coral instead. …查看更多

Came around 6:30 and the restaurant was not that busy, just a couple of tables occupied. We ordered a burger and a foie gras risotto. Burger came around 15 minutes after we ordered but the risotto took more than 45 minutes! Do they have just one cook in the kitchen? Totally unacceptable. We had to ask twice for them to follow up on our order. When it finally came out, they had served the same dish to another table that arrived much later than us. We came here for dinner around 6:30 PM and were the first customers for the evening shift as the restaurant was still empty. I ordered the "Almaviva" ramen noodles and my companion ordered the roasted chicken thigh. The food itself was average, nothing impressive but decent. When we ordered, we made sure to order dessert along with our mains because we didn't know how long the food would take to come and were hoping that by ordering earlier, we could avoid a long wait. After finishing our meal, we asked the staff for our dessert. We were confused when he came back with the dessert menu as we had already ordered. From that it was obvious that they had clearly forgotten our order. So we informed him that we had already chosen the roll cake and were told to "wait a moment." Thirty minutes later, our dessert still had not arrived and by that time the restaurant was full. We figured maybe they were still baking the cake which was why it was taking long. When our dessert finally arrived, we were met with an underwhelming sliced roll cake that was clearly not freshly baked but pre-made and stored in the refrigerator. How does it take more than 40 minutes to slice a cake and put it on a plate? What was more frustrating was the fact that we had ordered it even before we started eating our main dishes. We ordered the dinner set for two which comes with one appetizer, two main dishes, dessert and two drinks. For our appetizer, we chose the cheese quesadilla which tasted decent but the portion was smaller than expected. The two main dishes--both pasta--were also small servings and they tasted ordinary. Dessert was a small chocolate mousse-like dish which could be eaten in two or three big bites. The coffee that came with the meal was watered down. Our bill came up to 538 HKD (including 10% service charge and upgrade on one drink). For the same amount of money, I can have a better meal in more expensive areas like Central or Causeway Bay. The food wasn't bad taste-wide but the servings were not filling and it was definitely not worth the price! I think if it had been half of the price, it would reflect the accurate value of what the meal was worth. Won't be going again--there are better places to spend money at. …查看更多
