This is not the first time I've been to this cute little store in Soho, but I thought it was about time for me to spread the word on this gem.I had a Quick-fix (small) in Green Apple flavor with strawberries and Mochi. Yogurt - the texture is creamy yet light (I didn't know that it was possible!), with a really fresh and natural yogurt taste. I have to say Berrygood's yogurt has a very unique freshness to it, unlike the artificial (almost powdery) tasting yogurt at Yo Mama. The green apple flavor is very refreshing too, with just the right amount of tartness.
Toppings- the strawberries were fresh and sweet, but the thing to highlight is their mochi! I was told that they make it fresh in the store everyday, and it has a wonderful pillow softness and yet adequately chewy. The girlfriend I was with described as "little pillows of heaven" Enough said.
Berrygood must be doing something right - it's cold outside (16 degrees) and yet it's still jam-packed with students on a Tuesday afternoon. Funny thing... I overheard a high school kid say to her friends that she "spends all her allowance on Berrygood"... ?! The froyo fad must have really caught on with the kids here.
