I was in boyfriend's neighbourhood where he took me to one of his favorite places to eat. Located in Tsz Wan Shan, 越式阿肥美食 (English name: Yummy Fast Food) is a small shop serving Vietnamese food.They only have outdoor seating. And yes, it was very oily and greasy. Menu is in Chinese only. There is no 10% service charge. No English. The staff aren't friendly either. Actually all the reviews stated the staff was rude. But despite all these obstacles, there were a good number of people eating here.

I didn't want that much fried items (much to boyfriend's look of disgust) and ordered rice noodles with cooked beef slices, Vietnamese sausage, chicken meat and beef ball ($33). Needless to say, the soup was basically MSG. It was not that great. The rice noodles were chewy. The beef ball was pretty firm and the sausage was good. The chicken meat was moist and nicely seasoned. But the beef ... wow. Was it hard as rubber.
Boyfriend ordered his usual. Lemongrass pork chop and Vietnamese sausage with rice ($41). He liked it because they gave him lots of spring onion. The pork chop was ok. A bit oily but full of flavor.
We shared butter chicken wings ($33). Talk about deep fried in butter. You can literally taste the butter. Meat was still tender and moist while the skin was crunchy. Literally drenched in deep fried butter fat. But I guess that is what the people are here for. If you are fearing for your heart, then probably stay away from here. But if you don't care ... then by all means. This is the dish for you. And from other reviews, it's what this place is famous for.
It was ok. I wasn't a big fan though boyfriend loves this place. However, he said the quality decreased a bit since last time he was here. What? Not enough fat content? I guess come here only if you want some serious oil action.
