Beautiful Sunday. As an expat who has lived in HK for years, I still enjoy taking every weekend as a new adventure and to explore every suburb in town. This time I took the MTR to the west end of the Hong Kong line to experience the less busy side of the island. This time I took the MTR to the west end of the Hong Kong line to experience the less busy side of the island. During my 'scenic tour' I came across this beautiful cafe which was about 3 mins walk away from the MTR station. The menu was extensive and I had no idea what to order. However, after the friendly waitress' introduction and recommendations, I realised I found myself a waffle heaven! But what really caught my attention was that they serve all day brunch and along with savoury liege waffle. Well! Sounds like a new adventure in itself for me. Surprisingly, the food and coffee was creative and deliciously classy.
I ordered "All the best" (which had buffalo mozzarella cheese, crispy bacons & liege waffle as its main ingredients), along with black coffee. At first, my plan was to stay there for only a quick fix and a short rest - but i ended up spending almost 2 hours there reading magazines & enjoying the comfort. The decor had a modern touch of class and felt very cozy. Will definitely go back for a second visit when I hit that side of town again !
