At first, I didn’t really want to wait in the heat on a Sunday for lunch here, but it feels like there’s been many traditional cafes/bakeries closing recently which gave the will to wait 20 minutes for this cha Chan teng in Sheung Shui! Loved how they serve their 常餐 with an egg Sando, which reminded me of Gala cafe in Tsuen Wan😆 don’t know why but such simple ingredients taste so good in such a traditional setting. Their beef macaroni was alright, though surprised at their generous portion of beef 😝 and of course, almost every table ordered a 菠蘿油 so I had FOMO and tried it too. Nothing special, I would have liked it much more if they reheated the bun 😝

Will come back next time as the table next to us mentioned that their 紅豆冰is “the best in Hong Kong” 😮
