Wanted to pay tribute to these vintage little restaurant (less and less in HK nowadays), but the service is worst u can find. The guy shouted at us for taking photos of the food (cup of coffee) we ordered and asked us to stop doing so. I respected that and put away my phone (btw, there’s no signage of not allowing ppl to photo shoot in the restaurant). But he still went into the kitchen and keep yelling about it. The guy shouted at us for taking photos of the food (cup of coffee) we ordered and asked us to stop doing so. I respected that and put away my phone (btw, there’s no signage of not allowing ppl to photo shoot in the restaurant). But he still went into the kitchen and keep yelling about it. The lady say he’s in bad mood cuz it’s jockey day and he’s losing money from betting on horses. What kinda reason is that for bad service? Respect to customers?? We ended up leaving without getting our food (worried they will do “add-on”), paid in full (including the food we didn’t even get). Regret going in, rather going to McDonald’s to get a coffee than this place (cuz the coffee itself taste like water too). Not worth visiting at all!!
