Wife bday lunch

Even though I am definitely NOT a foodie, I have been fortunate to dine in some amazing restaurants but never once have I felt compelled to write a review. Even though I am definitely NOT a foodie, I have been fortunate to dine in some amazing restaurants but never once have I felt compelled to write a review. Today’s set lunch for my wife’s bday was PERFECT from start to finish. Chef Elzer and his team astonished us with their friendliness, attentiveness and professionalism. I never once felt awkward being in such an amazing restaurant. The food was beautifully presented and being a cynic I thought looks can be deceiving as I have experienced in other big name expensive places. Not so at l’Envol. Each dish was meticulous and prepared beautifully. Modified menu as a result of COVID or not, each dish did not disappoint. The reasonable prices for a set lunch only made the experience even more exceptional. From the bread and champagne and caviar butter (only a mad genius could do that!) to the prawn and Iberico pork every element of every dish left my wife and I speechless. Thank you so much L’Envol team for one of the best meals of our lives!
