Kai Kee being the most famous dessert in Yuen Long, for the quantity but not the quality actually. People live in Tuen Mun, Yuen Long are all love their Cheung Fun and chicken wing tip rather than the desserts. We passed the restaurant after the meal and wanna have a ginger soup to relieve my period pain please. So I ordered a hot sweet potato ginger soup and Black Sesame Soup for Mr.K, also $6 Cheung Fun with all sauce except the chili sauce. Steamed vermicelli roll came first, the smoothness
Steamed vermicelli roll came first, the smoothness and thickness are as satisfied as usual since the supplier is another famous Cheung Fun shop in Sum Shui Po - Hup Yik Tai. But i think the texture is softer than usual, is it due to the weekend night ? I dunno, I'd better come at weekday next time.
Surprisingly, there were numbers of sweet potato in my ginger soup, too much, rite? I was thinking if i am the only one order this dessert tonight, ah ha. But the ginger soup seems a bit diluted with a trace ginger hot only. The sweet potato was good but actually i focus on the soup more tonight, it's a pity.On the other hand, the black sesame soup did in a right track with high density and lots of small sesame particles in the soup, i like this kind of smoothness instead of zero particle. The concentration and the taste are good as well.
We saw most of the people come from other districts ordered the 'B Chai Grass Jelly', the presentation is always spectacular and good for taking a picture. Let's go and offer the seats to others.
