Dinner buffet at $158 per head. The 'welcome sushi' consisted of one scallop nigiri and one tuna belly nigiri (one nigiri each). The scallop nigiri was big and quite sweet, which was a nice surprise. The tuna belly could've done better on its own. I was most amused by the numbers in which we could order our buffet servings. When I wrote down I wanted one piece of sweet shrimp sashimi by mistake, they actually gave me one piece of sweet shrimp sashimi, served with finely grated turnip on a sushi

The BBQ chicken wings were the best - it was piping hot when it was served to us, and it was well marinated. I also liked the chicken soft bone as it was BBQed to quite a crunchy (dry) state, but it was not hot enough.
Sushi wise, it was more or less like 元綠壽司 standards, not exceptionally good but not poor either. The rice was well moulded although some of the fish didn't feel as though they were meant for nigiri use (e.g. they slide off the rice ball very easily).
The lychee ice cream's taste was quite crisp and sweet; the green tea ice cream's colouring looked a bit over the top, but there was an element of green tea flavouring in it, which I think deserves a little positive mention.
We were lucky to get the attention of the waiters and waitresses by waving our hands in the air like madmen. Apart from that, the service was worth a pass, but only just.
In general, what you pay is what you get - there is a difference between paying $500 a head and $50 a head, so don't expect too much from a $158 sushi dinner buffet.
