My wife, my child and I tried this restaurant as we read about it in a newspaper. It was reported that the chef here served at mandarin hotel of singapore and hope that hoi nam chicken here is worth a try.We ordered 2 Hoi Nam chicken sets (their signature dish), 1 satay and 1 boiled vegetable. We ordered 2 Hoi Nam chicken sets (their signature dish), 1 satay and 1 boiled vegetable. When the food came, we found it was a total disappointment! The chicken is no better than a similar set you can get from Maxim's fast food. The satay is better with tasty sauce. The boiled vege is again similar to what you get from any fast food outlet in Hong Kong.
My wife & I tried hoi nam chicken few times in Singpaore and the food quality & taste is much much more better than that offered here!
Moreover, there is a limited choice on their menu and there's not much you can choose from except chicken.
The bill at some HKD 300 is surely not good value for money for this food quality. I am more than sure that I won't dine in this restaurant again.
