My colleagues decided to have an early Christmas celebration dinner and suggested Iberians. It was located at New Mandarin Plaza, at East Tsim Sha Tsui area. They offered a wide range of Spanish cuisine such as soup, salad, tapas, paella, meat, pasta and drinks etc. They were running a promotion now in there is a 50% off on their sangria upon any main course order. The restaurant was huge, able to sit several tables and customers.
Burrata cheese salad - A huge piece of burrata was added onto the salad, helping to make it cheesy and flavourful. Burrata was milky and smooth in texture, with the salad fresh and crunchy.
Pan con tomate - It came with marinated garlic, tomato and pepper placed on a small plate. Sliced bread was soft and smooth, provided to eat tomato and pepper together. Tomato and pepper were flavourful and juicy.
Seafood pancake - Pancake was fried till crispy and slightly oily, with plenty of seafood ingredients in it.
Valencian chicken paella - The chef was generous with the portion of the rice and chicken pieces. Chicken was smooth and juicy while the rice was very chewy and sweet, with strong tomato base.
Sangria white - It was mixed with martell, white wine, apple, orange, lemon, lime and grapes. It was easy to drink and refreshing, with fruity taste. It was sweet and sour in taste too.
