Another day in the living hell. Having no way/motivation to go out, I sat all day long until mom bought this very funny looking lemon cheesecake home in the late afternoon as a lunch-plus-snack. What's better than a slice of refreshing lemon cheesecake in a stuffy and hot afternoon like the one i was suffering from? The slice of cake could hardly be called a slice since it was so tall and rectangular that calling it a brick would sound more proper. It looked sheer whitish in colour - the crust
The slice of cake could hardly be called a slice since it was so tall and rectangular that calling it a brick would sound more proper. It looked sheer whitish in colour - the crust was being extraordinarily thin and could hardly be seen with the plastic holder still in place.
Regardless the ambiguous texture of the cake it tasted okay. The fainting hint of citrus sourness was pretty refreshing, and actually it had covered up the taste of the 'cheese' in it - so you could imagine how not-cheesy the cake had tasted like, and rather there was a strong taste of cream. So why not call it a lemon mousse cake then?
I did not quite like the thin biscuit base as i would like something far thicker and chunker.
But still, thanks, ma, for bringing me this cake
