I went to Bloop on a friday night with two of my friends and it turned out to be our worst bar experience ever.I ordered a Godiva Chocolate Martini ($110). Not to mention that it looked nothing like the very fancy instagram posts, it tasted so diluted that I thought I was drinking some random chocolate drinks from the school canteen- there's no trace of chocolate at all.We also had the truffle cheese fries for snacks because it was their signiture dish. I ordered a Godiva Chocolate Martini ($110). Not to mention that it looked nothing like the very fancy instagram posts, it tasted so diluted that I thought I was drinking some random chocolate drinks from the school canteen- there's no trace of chocolate at all.
We also had the truffle cheese fries for snacks because it was their signiture dish. But when the dish arrived the fries were already deflated as if it was cooked 5 hours ago. The truffle source wasn't rich at all and the whole dish was actually a disaster.
For shisha, we ordered the gummy bear flavor with milk as the base. I had to admit that it was quite a weird choice and it did taste like expired milk. But the shisha quality wasnt good either as it turned really rough after a few sips.
Apart from the food and drinks, the decor was soooo overrated too! Their infamous fish tank was actually a huge tank with only two fish inside LOL
Luckily the service was quite nice as the staff was very attentive to the customers and they changed the charcoal without us asking.
After yesterday, I highly suspect that all the positive reviews I read online were actually advertisements.
