Very Good Neighborhood Place

Stopped by this place on a friend's recommendation.   It's in a government "cooked food centre" which means the ambience is noisy crowded and not very comfortable.   But the food was excellent!   We had mutton curry with spinach and chicken tikka, as well as a plate of vegetables.  The spinach sauce was rich and flavorful, although the mutton was rather.....chewy.   The chicken, by contrast, was tender and had absorbed the flavors of the spices to make a wonderful contrast to the spinach dish.

Stopped by this place on a friend's recommendation.   It's in a government "cooked food centre" which means the ambience is noisy crowded and not very comfortable.   But the food was excellent!   We had mutton curry with spinach and chicken tikka, as well as a plate of vegetables.  The spinach sauce was rich and flavorful, although the mutton was rather.....chewy.   The chicken, by contrast, was tender and had absorbed the flavors of the spices to make a wonderful contrast to the spinach dish.  We tried both the paratha and nan breads, and both were very good (especially with the spinach gravy ladled over them).   Service was very friendly and the assortment of cold beers was good and cheap.  Indeed, overall prices, as you would expect in such a place, were quite moderate.   We'll go back soon to try some of their other dishes.
