Very cool and nice food

Finally visited the much hyped Lily and Bloom and was not disappointed. Lily bar has a great vibe with friendly staff and nice crowd. My mojito was excellent and my friend’s JD coke came with a chunk of ice freshly cut from a huge block of ice behind the bar – nice touch, but the ice cube was a bit too big in the glass to comfortably drink (or perhaps my friend’s nose is too big). As we didn’t have a reservation, we waited about 15 minutes to go downstairs for dinner at Bloom which wasn’t a prob

As we didn’t have a reservation, we waited about 15 minutes to go downstairs for dinner at Bloom which wasn’t a problem given the atmosphere. Starter bread selection was nice. We skipped the appetizers and went for mains. I had the sea bass and my friend had the salmon. The seabass was excellent, perfectly cooked with a delicious light sauce. I tasted my friend’s salmon which was also delicious on a rich foie gras and caramelized fennel base. We shared the indulgent chocolate tort which was a great end to the meal. Overall, reasonably priced for good quality and atmosphere.
