My husband and I decided to go to all-you-can-eat skewers BBQ place, Ba Ba Cue, for valentine's dinner. The restaurant is located very near to Kwun Tong MTR station (5 mins walk from Exit B). You are able to easily locate the restaurant. Its set up is very clean and neat. It took us only few minutes to get seated. We were amazing by this restaurant offering an automatic skewers cooker which is a great invention which we can just sit and enjoy the food while putting all the food and skewers we like on the cooker. All skewers will be rolled automatically to ensure they are fully and well cooked in good temperature.
The restaurant offered variety of skewers which include but not limited to below:
Marinated Meat: beef, pork cha siu, chicken fillet, fatty pork belly, chicken wings, etc.
Seafood: sprats fish, clams, mussels, prawns, abalones
Others: Sausages, fish cake, mushroom, zucchini,
and even pineapples and marshamallows..(my favourite).
While you are waiting for the skewers to be cooked, you can eat their cooked food and cold appetizers. There are lots to choose from:
Deep fried bites: onion rings, chicken bites, nuggets, dumplings, etc.
Appetizers: Cold Garlic marinated eggplant, long green beans, lotus slices, pork slices, salad, salmon salad, marinated octopus and scallops, Japanese seaweed, thai boneless chicken feet
Hot Food:
Broccoli stir fry, black beans clams, garlic oysters, curry fishballs
We were half full, and satisfied with the gourmet. They provided us a nice full bottle of red grape sparkling soda and soecial platter which included a 15inch Japanese eel, clams and abolones.
Drinks: Ice Tea, Coca Cola, Packaged Drinks like grapes juice
Finally, but not least were desserts:
they offered ice cream and ice popsicles, cakes and tarts.
We recommend this place as it is very good deal to eat there. Your tummy will be well fed with the variety of food.
