Cost cutting measures in the beverage dept now mean that there is no longer any cans of soft drinks but carbonated dispensers.
the other non fizzy soft drinks where procured from unrecognisable companies.
The frozen yoghurt selection had also shrunk to 2 choices instead of 4.
Service wise - as with many buffet places -its pretty non existent, but when you start frying your hotpot instead of boiling it, you know something's not right.
Time allowed for buffet also seemed to have shrunk. Time sat down 6.35pm. time given the bill 8pm. We were pretty much told to leave straight after.
What happened to the 2hrs that you used to get? We were a table of five and well 90min was cutting it fine.
Needless to say curtailing the dining time is a sure way to increase turnover, however there wasn't anyone else waiting for a table which in turn means that is a sure way to lose your customers as well if you are chasing then to eat and go on a buffet.
Overall the food is ok. I understand you need to make money, but ushering your guests away in what should be a 120min dining time to 90 min is a bit OTT and especially so when there is no other guests waiting.
We ended up going to McDs after.... that says it all
