I had a very unpleasant experience at your restaurant yesterday. We were a party of 2 adults and 2 kids (4 and 7 years old). The watier took our order for a set meal for 2 person with an additional dish of mussels, then came back afterwards and said that there's a minimum order of 1 item per person, so we need to order 2 more items as the mussel is an considered an add-on to the set, rather than an individual item.Firstly, we should have been informed of this before seating us, or at least when
Firstly, we should have been informed of this before seating us, or at least when presenting the menu. Not after we have been presented with bread and water.
Secondly, I'm surprised that this minimum order rule is applied to a 4 years old!!! (and ironically, the 2 adults at the table next to us only ordered 1 pasta and 1 drink, which probably costed half the price of our set!!)
And on top of that, the food was not good. The braised beef cheek was was too salty. The portions were tiny. The grapes on the cold meat platter was not fresh. The bread with the mussels was hard even after soaking in the sauce. The meatball was falling apart. And the gnocchi was just...subpar.
