Went to Ocean Park with my baby nephew the other day. Chose this restaurant to eat at after seeing a few positive reviews on Openrice. I went before 12 so there weren't that many people and we didn't have to wait for a table.The first thing we noticed was the beautiful view. Their balcony was made of glass so we requested for a table by the glass.We ordered Iced Tea, $78 which served 2-3 people. It tasted good and contained blueberry halves. It was clearly not simply opened from a packaged drink

We ordered Iced Tea, $78 which served 2-3 people. It tasted good and contained blueberry halves. It was clearly not simply opened from a packaged drink. It was an extremely hot day and an iced drink was perfect to start off the meal. However, due to the hotness, the ice quickly melted and it was soon not cold enough. We requested for some more ice.
As appetizers, we ordered a Chicken and Beef Satay and Swiss Chicken Wings. The Satay was one of the best part of the meal! The chicken was better than the beef, as it was very tender. There were spices sprinkled on it and a peanut served with it. Good! The Swiss Chicken Wing, however, was slightly disappointing. I felt that it was tasteless and just not very yummy.
I've seen this Pumpkin and Seafood Baked Rice on various posts on Openrice and was really tempted to try it! We ordered it and didn't regret. It was freshly baked and the rice was piping hot. There was cheese on top and lots of cream sauce to go with the rice. The pumpkin was soft and you could scoop it out to go with the rice. However, I felt that there was definitely not enough salt in the rice. It was a little bland so we asked for salt and cheese powder. It was great after we seasoned it a little.
We also ordered a Spaghetti Bolognese after because we weren't full enough. Their portions here are quite small. The spaghetti was cooked very locally. It came very fast so I expect their sauce to be pre-made and all they had to do was to spoon it onto some pasta. It wasn't hot enough and my main problem was that they had so much water on the bottom of the plate. The restaurant itself was quite beautiful but it is basically a balcony and there was no air-conditioning. But since it was beside the sea, I felt there was enough breeze so that we didn't feel too hot. The seating was comfortable, and the view was sooo beautiful. In terms of the service, it was quite good too. The people were helpful and friendly and the food came relatively quick. By the time we finished, there were many people waiting for a table! The price is more expensive of course, as it is inside a theme park. However, I feel that the food (and menu variety) was better than what you could get in theme park restaurants.
